He'd done it. He was the first to break a hole in the bedrock of the overworld. Of the hermits. And technically it was Impulse who had actually broken the bedrock. But that wasn't about to spoil Zed's mood! He could explore the endless depths of the void! The first thing he did was grab a spare elytra and a few fireworks. He wanted to fly down there. He was so excited that he didn't bother checking the durability of the elytra, figuring it would be enough to take a quick flight around the void.
He dropped down through the hole that had been created, panicking for a few moments as the elytra was slow to activate, which quickly turner into exhilaration. The void was a crisp cool, and seemed to have a constant wind blowing around, though that may have just been the speed Zed was flying at.
His elytra shuddered, and then, he was falling. He didn't panic though. In fact, falling through the void was relaxing. He knew there wasn't anything he could do to save himself. He didn't know how long he had been flying in the void for, nor did he know how far he'd fallen.
*Zedaph fell out of the world*
Zed respawned back at his bed and smiled. Another first.
