Ian shared some surprising news with me: Mickey was getting married to the Russian prostitute from that fateful day that Terry barged in on the two of them. To make matters even more complicated, she was pregnant with Mickey's child. I found Ian in the kitchen one morning. still visibly recovering from a night of heavy drinking. His demeanor was somber, and it was clear he was a severe hangover.
"So... he's getting married today?" I asked Ian, my voice tinged with disbelief.
"In a couple hours, yeah. You should go; it might be interesting," Ian replied, his voice lacking its usual enthusiasm. His exhaustion was palpable, and he leaned heavily against the kitchen counter.
"Why would I go?" I questioned, genuinely unsure of what my role in this event might be.
"Mandy's going to be there, and she might want to see you," Ian suggested, his words carrying a hint of hope.
Concerned for Ian, I decided to broach the topic that was clearly weighing on his mind. "Ian, are you okay?" I asked, my voice filled with genuine care.
"I could be better," Ian replied with a heavy sigh, "Mickey got a prostitute pregnant... so that's cool."
As we were conversing, Lip walked by, clearly stressed out. He absentmindedly rubbed the back of his head. a telltale sign of his anxiety. The whole situation with Karen and Mandy was taking its toll on him. Mandy had intentionally hit Karen with her car, resulting in severe brain damage. This was Mandy's way or responding to Lip's visit to Karen, and it had led to a series of events that culminated in Karen being sent to Arizona with Jody for specialized care.

I attended Mickey's wedding, although the atmosphere was far from festive. Mandy, clearly agitated, approached me as people were already seated, awaiting the ceremony. Mickey was conspicuously absent.
"Do you know where the fuck Mickey is?" Mandy asked, her frustration evident in her voice.
"He's probably hiding in the back," I suggested, unsure of Mickey's whereabouts. Without hesitation, Mandy and I headed toward the back. I called out for him as we opened a set of doors.
"Mick? Mickey!"
Finally, Mickey emerged from the shadows, exasperated. He held a cigarette between his lips, lighting it up. "Everyone's looking for you," Mandy admonished.
"Damn, send the whole fucking wedding after me, why don't you?" Mickey retorted, his irritation palpable. I rolled my eyes at his theatrics.
"You came?" I asked, my surprise evident. Ian's presence at the wedding, given the circumstances, was unexpected.
"Last-minute decision," Ian explained as he joined us.
