AUGUST
I could smell the magick on her skin, spicy and sweet, as she stood with her back to me. The curves of her delicate figure enticing me to take her again, to feel her come apart in my arms, but I fought to hold myself back. She deserved so much better than to become prey to my darkness, my desire to devour her increased everyday.
I had watched her train with Nova, her abilities growing each passing day as she began to blossom. How I had wanted to be the one to show her, to help her unlock the door that kept her true power at bay, but I had lost that chance centuries ago.
Nevada trembled beneath my touch as my hand moved slowly across her chest, teasing her flesh with the tips of my fingers. I could hear her breath hitch as her heart raced, her body and her blood calling out to me as the sweet scent of her arousal filled my nose. She reached up and gathered her hair to one side and tilted her head, baring her neck for me Gods, she was so ripe and ready for me, willingly offering herself to me in more ways than she may have realized.
"Be careful there, Princess. Some corruptions will take you straight to Hades," I whispered in her ear. "And there will be no coming back."
She looked up at me, her head resting against my chest as her emerald eyes shining with unshed tears met mine. They were swirling with pain and determination, so beautiful that I wished to spend an eternity swimming in them and taking away all the hurt she had ever felt.
"I would gladly walk through hell if only I could have you," she replied, her voice soft but full of strength. "I want you, August, and I don't care what anyone thinks."
Her words shot daggers into my heart, fileting my soul. I wanted her more than she even knew but I had already crossed that line and I couldn't go any farther. It was unfair to her and a betrayal that would destroy a thousand year old friendship along with the family she had yet to have a chance to know.
"But I do," I told her, my hand cupping her cheek gently. "Dominic is the reason I am alive and he trusted me with you."
"I trust you with me, all of me." She said as a lone tear slid down her face.
My resolve broke. Before she even knew what was happening, I had her legs thrown over my shoulders and her back pressed against the shower wall. The hot water streamed down, soaking my clothes but I didn't care. Nothing mattered as I kissed the insides of her thighs and my hands gripped her ass holding up, allowing me a perfect view of her. She gasped in surprise at the sudden change and looked down at me with wide eyes.
I spread her legs wide exposing her to me completely, her pink folds glistening and begging to be tasted. I stopped thinking, stopped caring about the consequences, all of my attention directed at her. My tongue darted out, slicing through those pretty lips eliciting a shocked cry from her. The taste of her juices coating my tongue as I pushed into her channel, over and over. I couldn't get enough of her, everything about her was intoxicating and I felt myself becoming an addict.
Nevada gripped my hair and writhed against the shower wall as I grazed my teeth lightly against her clit before sucking it into my mouth. She moaned, the sound washing over me as a beautiful melody as she got closer and closer to the edge.
"Aug-August," she whimpered, pushing her hips into my face. "Oh, gods!"
I slowed my movements, tracing slow circles around her swollen bundle of nerves drawing other pleasure because I never wanted to stop tasting her. My cravings for her were stronger than my craving for blood and there was nothing I could do. The way she moved, the sounds she made, the taste of every part of her satiated my hunger in a way nothing else ever had.
