"What's going on Bumblebee? Where are we going? Why haven't we taken a ground bridge to base?"

She hasn't stopped asking questions since she hopped in the high speed car. The one that was now racing down the street. He barely answered any of her questions. He knows it would be easier to show her. Trees and fields go by as a blur. His speedometer topping out, engine continuing to push. Her hands grip the armrest, holding on tight. His speed keeping her back in the seat. She is sure they are at least out of the state by this point. After driving for what feels like hours, they finally pull of the road. Static starts to play though Bee's radio. A voice comes through, but it cracks and is hard to o understand.

"Bumblebee...come in." She couldn't stop her excitement at the grumpy voice that came through the other end.

"Is that Ratchet!?!?" Her form began to jump in the seat.

Beeps and whirs came from the radio, answering back the older bot.

"You have who?" Her smile dropped.

But Bee continued to beep.

"Just get back to base"

A green and blue swirling vortex opened in front of them and Bee soared through. Shelby tried to stay excited, tried not to let the disappointment of Ratchet get to her. Even as she slumped back in the seat. She watched out the window as the scenery changed from dark green woods to a bright open spaced building. Two giants stood waiting on the other side. One was red and blue with exhaust stacks coming out the back of his shoulders. The next one was quite a bit shorter, but still easily a giant, was white and orange and a grumpy look on his face.

Bumblebee pulled to a stop in front of them, but she didn't get out yet. She took a deep breath before opening the door. The room was so silent, her black boots echoed as they hit the floor. It wasn't until she was fully out of the car that the two metal sentient beings gasped. Both looking equally as shocked as the other.

"Optimus, how can this be?" The white and orange when looked up to his leader in question.

"I do not know, Ratchet. I do not know."

"Nice to see you too. Hi, how've you been?" Shelby said sarcastically, waving up at them, the other hand on her hip.

Bumblebee then transformed and started going off. Arms and hands moving everywhere.

"Yes, Bee. You were correct. I am sorry we didn't believe you." Optimus said.

"What's going on? Believe him about what?" This time she crossed her arms, not liking being ignored.

The three began to talk amongst themselves, forgetting that she was there. She tried to wait it out, see if they remembered. They spoke quietly. Making it hard for her to hear. Her foot began to tap and a scowl formed on her face. After hearing her name again, she spoke up.

"What is going on?" Her voice raised, making them freeze and look at her.

Optimus is the first to move, kneeling down to her level. "Shelby, you have know idea how happy we are to see you, but we thought you were dead."

This shocked her. They thought she was dead. Why would they think that? Her eyes wondered the ground, trying to think of answers. Unsure of what to make of this situation. Her father had to be behind this somehow. That means he has to know about them. But how? All these questions begin to run through her mind and she has no answers. It all makes sense why none of them came after her and it made it easy to believe that they weren't real, but still.

"You all thought I was dead? What made you think that?"

"Agent Fowler was told by the hospital that you never came out of your coma." Optimus explained.
