Make Way

The two lay in her bed. Her head resting on his chest, his arm wrapped around her small body. They mold together, fitting perfectly like a puzzle piece. Her hand grips his shirt, afraid he will disappear. Their eyes are closed, resting peacefully. Then there is a knock on the door. Dreadwing bolts up and she slides off. 

"What is it?" His voice was gruff and not happy to be awoken. 

"Silas has been spotted." It's Smokescreen. 

Dreadwing looks back at her, before helping her get up. Shelby gets up and puts on her shoes and Dreadwing disintegrates back into his real form. He picks her up and they walk out, following Smokescreen back to the bay. The group is standing, waiting for them to appear. They spread out, making a path for the two as they walk in closer, nearing Optimus. 

"Where?" Is all she asks. Her arms crossed, staring angrily in front of her. 

"He broke into a military base to retrieve Project Damocles. We believe he may have taken it to Megatron." Optimus informs.  

"Where's Raf?" Shelby asks, looking around for the kid. 

"He's grounded. He's off team Prime until he gets his grades up." Jack explains. 

"We need him. He will be able to shut it down. We will need back up at Raf's house. We will also need a diversion at the secured headquarters in Colorado. Raf will be able to connect to the satalite, but Soundwave will be at the headquarters getting the interface code." She starts walking back and forth, trying to explain. 

"How do you know this?" Arcee wonders out loud. 

Shelby stops in her tracks. She doesn't turn around and look at her. This is something she saw in her dreams. She tried so hard to get it to stop and its only playing out anyway. She had hoped with everything else not going as planned, this wouldn't either. After debating, she turns around and gives her a sad look. 

"In my coma, this happened. Other things happened as well, but other have not. This is one of the things I was hoping to stop already, but Silas is more cunning that I take him credit for. I don't want to go into anymore detail. But after this is over with Silas, I will tell you more information I believe you all need to know. It will give us a huge step over Megatron." She explains. "I know it sounds crazy, but I have to much evidance to prove that my dream was real or really going to happen."

"Yeah you do sound a bit crazy," Arcee starts, "But if it will help us win this war. Then lets do it."

Shelby gave Arcee a smile and Arcee smiles back. Fowler starts explaining where the Autobots will need to go to destract Soundwave. Shelby has Jack inform Raf that they will be coming and to be ready for us. 

"The base has been evacuated, but it wasn't done by me. Soundwave is already there." Fowler says after trying to get incontact with the headquarters. 

"Arcee, Bumblebee, Smokescreen, Dreadwing and I will go to the headquarters and start the destraction. Hot Rod and Bulkhead will be curbside duty at Rafael's home." Optimus orders. "Stay covert and be ready for anything." 

"Understood." Both Hot Rod and Bulkhead say together. 

"Dreadwing put me down, I need to get my weapon." Shelby said. 

"I don't want you going." He says, looking down at her. 

"I have to go. I need to be able to protect Raf and the others in case something doesn't go well." She tries to clarify. 

He sets her down carefully and she hops off. She runs off to their shared room. Her weapon lay on the table where it sat after the bloody aftermath that lost her her brother. Her hand wraps around the handle and is shoved into the holster attached to her belt. Then she runs back to the squad bay. Everyone getting ready to ground bridge to the correct locations. She stands by and watches the Autobots go through the ground bridge. Bulkhead and Hot Rod race off to Rafs residence. The rest of the kids, agent Fowler and Shelby get ready to take their trip.
