Hello, here is your narrator speaking...

Since this is taking a bit too long I'm going to speed up the process by getting to the main points of Jin's life.

Originally there was going to be a few chapters being more detailed about Y/N and Jin and how they first met in the funeral, Y/N calling Jin's brother a good for nothing family killer, and showing Jin's absolute furry against her, but I found that this would take you away from what I was trying to make a point of in this book.

This is Y/N and Jin's story, yes, but there's a lot left unsaid.

For starters, this story had one chapter called:

•First Love, First Murder

We'd be following my narration as I explain Jin's falling in love for the first time and going with Jae to talk to a fortune teller.

See Jin was very...I think the word is a firm believer..a believer in the paranormal.

He was taught that spirits could come back and that loved ones come to see you in the afterlife etc.

We were supposed to see his first love- May- die and Jin going to a witch in hopes of sacrificing his life to speak to his first love again, not knowing the witch would curse his brother and mother too. We would see Jin talk to the dead for the first time and Jae being possessed for the first time. This would lead to Jin's mother going out with his father one day and then his father saying she had died. He actually loved her but one of his mistresses poisoned her and he remarried to his affair.

What was the curse his mother was given?

An early death.

And yeah I know it seems cliche or stupid or convenient.

Whichever it is in your eyes, I believe this is why, even though he hates Hani with a burning passion, he is willing to listen to her and act with her as if she was his sister or a surrogate for his deceased mother.

It also explains why Jae finds her so charming.

Jin's mother had a mixture of traits, some more closely related to Hani.

No, I'm not saying Jin and Jae had mommy issues but........that is totally what I am trying to say.

I don't think I should waste your time with a chapter like that so I scratched it out and prefer to simply explain it.

This chapter is to give light to Jin's first love's death.

To be honest I hadn't thought much of why May would be in any way special. I mean keep in mind May was like in what? Middle school? elementary? I can't even freak remember since I apparently didn't note it down, but point is, they were young.

I mean...Jin does have a good cause as to why he wants to see her but all in all, it is a childish request. The reason why seeing a ghost is a curse in this AU is because the dead should be left to rest and not disturbed. Wishes have consequences, nothing is a fairy tale.

Also...Woozie, Jun, and Hani saw May's "murder" happen as well as them knowing the why she was... "killed".

She was killed because her family knew too much about Jin's father.

What do I mean about that?

I'll go more in-depth into his ass in another chapter.

Also, there is a reason why I put " " marks around murder and killed.

May was a gentle child, one who mirrors Y/N quite a lot. She is what I consider the fallen angel. The one we lost on the way to recovery.

Jin's father's goons did something terrible to her, something unspeakable.

May, like someone losing a grip of their own identity and life, decides to do something decisive and extreme to regain control of herself.

She kills herself.

She was driven to this by Jin's father's men so it is considered murder in Woozie and Jun's eyes.

May is also the reason SEVENTEEN, the private investigating agency, is created. This changed a lot of people's lives, and Jin just happened to be the most affected.

When Jin first starts talking to ghosts, people thinks he's talking to himself.

What first started as a simple once in a while chatter becomes an insane rant and yelling by Jin.

"Leave me alone!" being yelled by Jin at the crack of dawn as ghosts bombard him with wishes and requests.

I mean the first ghost he helped cross over was May's and to be honest, there is a reason May turns evil (mentioned at some point in Invisible Girl).

Ghosts who die a sudden, unexpected, violent, and traumatic death cannot cross over to what their equivalent of heaven is.

Jin has to find ways of crossing her over and well she does eventually, but it takes a great toll on Jin. Soon after Jin's mother is murdered by his father's mistress and well...

Trauma.

He got to say goodbye and help her cross over before she turned evil, but still...

Trauma.

Meanwhile, Jae gets possessed for the first time.

Jae gets possessed by an evil spirit and Jun helps Jin exorcise the ghost.

By that I do not mean helping the ghost run laps at a nearby gym, I mean expel the ghost from Jae's body.

Jun helps by finding info on the ghost yada yada and the end to this chapter...

To be continued...
