I walked by the beach where we used to meet Under the shade of the twin fine trees, Where you used to tie a hammock You let me sit while you rock, A piece of paradise for the two of us We both imagine that things will last, We both dreamed for the future Moments together was never a bore, There were many trials and struggles Along our way that we hurdle, Some of those leave some sliver Some of those leave some splinter, In the same heart you love and care In the same heart so pure and tender, Years had passed I walked at the same beach Thought I'm lost the landscape has changed, An old man walking by the scene He said the place was typhoon stricken, No twin trees no shade but stumps No place to set-up the red woven hammock, We have lots of things to laugh and talk To start again where we left off,

No cozy hammock to sit on as it used to be Nor the cool shade from the twin lovely tree, Just the stump, the white sand, the turquoise sea, The Island at the horizon, the beach morning glory, and your size ten foot tracks, that leads to me.
