𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 at the pocket knife in Danny's hand, taking it with a sigh and wiping the blood onto her jeans before pocketing it once again. The stench of the metallic liquid invaded her senses making her shut her eyes as she breathed, trying her best to ignore it.

Her eyes fluttered back open as Danny laid a hand on her arm. "Seriously, thank you."

Her eyes drifted from his sincere ones and down to the body on the ground as she spoke almost robotically. "Yeah, no problem."

"You didn't have to kill him," Matt spoke, facing Sticks' direction.

Stick rose a brow, pointing his blade in Olivia's direction. "The wolf killed him."

"Look, he's dead now, it's done and the kid is okay, leave it." Jess spat, looking between the two blind men, nodding as the Hale sent her a thankful look.

Stick huffed. "Either way, we got our answer. He's what they've been after all along."

"Yeah, well, we knew that."

"We didn't know the Iron Fist was the key to what the Hand seeks. The word isn't accidental."

Olivia continued to keep an ear on the conversation, but her eyes didn't move from the decapitated corpse. She didn't feel sad; she did what she had to do, she saved Danny, though, in the back of her mind, the tally of people that had died because of her grew by a mark, her shoulders felt heavier and her throat tight.

She couldn't help but think back to the conversation she had with the man earlier. He was right, New York was to be painted red with her victims, and he was the first of them.

Thankfully, Luke's voice brought her attention out of her mind and back to the conversation. "So you literally think Danny opens something?"

Stick nodded, his body turning to face the unmoving corpse "And that something is worth dying for."

Danny shook his head as he addressed Stick. "I'm a weapon. I'm not a key."

"That you know of."

"What could I possibly open?"

"You tell me. Must be why they haven't killed you." The old man scoffed.

Olivia sighed as she brought a hand up to her temple, a few flakes of dried blood falling from her fingertips. She knew less than the rest of them. Stick clearly had a lot of information on the Hand that hadn't been shared yet, as for Danny, she felt sorry for the kid, well, kid was a stretch, he was probably what twenty-two? Technically an adult, but still the youngest; it was a lot to have such responsibility placed on his shoulders. His powers being the deciding factor on whether New York would still be standing tomorrow.
