𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐘-𝐎𝐍𝐄 - the woeful wedding
━━━━━━━
𝐏𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐋𝐘 after the wolf and the devil had their rather poorly timed confession. The duo quickly separated themselves from one another and began to trail behind the car Dex drove. They kept themselves at a fair distance behind the deranged agent, knowing that he would gain them access; he'd take care of the guards and anyone else in the way without even knowing he was doing their job for them.
Olivia trailed just a step behind Matthew as they walked through the eerily silent car park. There wasn't a single sound considering the place was supposed to be swarmed with guards and police. They turned a corner and there, with the doors still opened, was Dex's car.
Olivia's face scrunched up the moment a whiff of... something awful hit her nose. The wolf picked up her pace, surpassing Matt. Her eyes landed upon one of the guards, he was on the ground and unconscious. With a grimace, she turned her head, the smell getting stronger until she finally caught sight of what was letting off the awful odor; it was Julie. Dex had taken her previously frozen dead body and strapped her into the passenger seat, she had thawed out and was steadily decomposing.
Olivia turned her head away as she held her breath; the smell was imposing. Okay, yes, she had some experience with people who were insane... Peter. Yes, her uncle was absolutely mental for a period of time, killing his niece for power and biting teenagers along with whatever else he did, but he still showed signs that he could be helped, still showed signs that he cared for them. That by no means meant that Olivia, nor Derek for that matter, forgave him for what he had done.
But he turned things around. Sure he's a sarcastic shit with attitude problems, but that was what came with Hale blood. Poindexter had been the way he was for a long time. Even as a child he hurt animals and even admitted to purposefully killing someone. And now he had the dead body of the woman he stalked inside of his car rotting away whilst he marched onwards ready to kill Fisk and his new bride.
She watched silently as Matthew repeated her actions, his head tilting towards the open car, recoiling at the smell. "We better keep going." He muttered.
Olivia hummed as she stepped over the knocked-out guard, her ears latching on to the sounds of Dex making his way through the building, leading the way.
They could hear people milling about, chatter and champagne being shared, laughter and mirth; they had absolutely no idea what was coming their way.
