Trixie's POV
What was I thinking? I had gotten in over my head. I watched Katya as I sat on my bed. After we kissed outside in front of her car, I pulled her inside the house. I closed the door and pushed her against it, kissing her. Katya made me warm, no she made me hot. So hot I wanted to come out of my clothes. The only reason we stopped is because Bianca came downstairs for a drink. So now, here we were in my room. Just Katya and I. She was looking at all of my awards for music. "You must be really good, super talented."
"I guess. I wanted to get rid of all of those."
"Why?"
"I don't want them." Katya shrugged her shoulders and came to sit next to me.
"So, why'd you want me to stay?"
"Oh, um..because."
"Because why?"
"It's late. I didn't want to drive home alone in the dark."
"Awe, you're just the sweetest baby."
"Yeah, yeah whatever." I laid back on my bed as I sighed. I closed my eyes until I felt weight on me. I opened my eyes to see Katya, straddling me. "Katya, what are you doing?"
"Looking at you."
"And you have to be on top of me to do that?"
"No, but I do to do this." Katya leaned down and kissed me. She held my arms over my head, lacing her fingers with mine. Katya pulled away a little and looked in my eyes. "You are so beautiful. Are you okay?"
"Y-yeah. Why?"
"Your face is as red as my lipstick."
"Ugh, shut up." Katya let go of my hands as she laughed.
"You are so cute."
"Katya, get off."
"But I like it here."
"Of course you do." Katya played with the buttons on my night shirt as she went quiet. "What is it?"
"Thinking."
"About what?"
"Just something."
"Gonna tell me?"
"Don't know."
"Please?" I put my hand on Katya's thigh and smiled softly.
"I like you."
"I know."
"I like you a lot."
"Is that bad?"
"No.."
"Well, you look like it is."
"It isn't. It's just.."
"Just what?"
"Trixie."
"Yeah?"
"How would you feel if I said I wanted you to be my girlfriend?"
"Your girlfriend?"
"Yeah."
"Well, I mean.." Katya looked into my eyes, looking for an answer. "I like you too Katya. But me? As your girlfriend?"
"Yes. You're all I think about Trixie. Day and night. When I'm painting, drawing, taking photos, or whatever. You're always on my mind."
"What do you think about me?"
"How soft and gentle you are. How cute you are, and how perfect it would be if I could call you mine. How adorable your laugh is. I think of ways to make you laugh, just so I can hear it."
"Do those thoughts make you happy?"
"Yeah, they do."
"Katya?"
"Hmm?"
"I think about you too."
"Really?"
"Yeah, really. Ever since that first day I met you, some part of my day is spent thinking about you."
"What do you think when you think about me?"
"Well, how goofy and weird you are. I think about your smile, your beautiful smile. Those pools of water that are your eyes take over my thoughts each time." I put my hand on Katya's cheek as I smiled.
"Trixie, is it too early in life to fall in love?"
"Does love have an age limit?"
"I don't know, maybe. When do you think it's best?"
"I think it depends on when you're ready. When your heart is ready I guess."
"Okay, well how do you know when you're falling in love? What even is falling in love?" I turned by head and looked out of my window, looking at the moon and stars.
"I don't really know. But maybe the feeling of wanting to be around that person all the time is a sign. Maybe it's when you spend your time wanting to make them happy at all costs..even by doing the smallest things to see a smile and hear their laugh." I looked at Katya, focusing on nothing but her. "It could even be when you look at them and life just makes sense for that spilt second. I think one of those or even all of those, are signs..signs that you are falling in love." Katya leaned down and kissed me, as she held my hand.
"I think all those sound about right."
"Me too."
