A New Adventure: A Sophitz

Sophie's pov:

We arrived early so we could talk to Councilor Oralie, but now I was regretting this. I could feel the the panic coming over me. "Hey relax, it will be fine." Fitz told me, giving my hand a reassuring squeeze. As we continued to walk to the door, I hit to me that I still had my shoes in my hand.  "Wait, I should probably put on my shoes!" I told them with a laugh.  I looked around to see if there was a bench, but there wasn't so I (with no grace at all) plopped down onto the ground. Bow seemed to find this so funny that he died laughing, and this earned him a glare, Fitz which made me laugh, which made Bow laugh harder; then it was just me a Bow hysterically laughing, with everyone else awkwardly standing there. "Well you two are yearly. How may I help you." A stern voice interrupted us.  After I recomposing myself, I looked up to see councilor Emery staring at us, with a stern look on his face. I quickly put on my shoes and stood up, but stood way to fast and I got dizzy and almost ended up back on the ground if it weren't for Sandor rushing to my side. "Um we are here to speak to Councilor Oralie" Fitz told him, choking down a laugh. "Very well,  I will take you to her." Emery told us and led us to her without a word. "Councilor Oralie, is now a good time for you to have a audience?" Emery asked, with a respectful but annoyed voice. "Oh.... yes." She said with a shock. From the look on her face she was shocked to see me here wanting to talk to her, after our last conversation. 

After Emery left she reluctantly asked "How may I help you?" She seemed to try to relax, but I could tell she wasn't at all. "First of all, Everyone in this room knows that your my mother, and second I'm here to apologize." I told her while looking right in the eye, so she new I meant it. " I'm sorry for reacting the way I did when I figured it out, you have done so much for the Black Swan, and you have done even more for me. So, I'm sorry. I hope you can except my apology and if not I understand. But its still going to be hard for me. I mean you just gave me away! And you.. you lied about so much, but you still stood by me. So, I am sorry, but I also need time." I said with as much confidence as I could. "Sophie! of course I will! And you have no need to apologize you had every right to react the way you did. And thank you." As she finished, it looked like the wait of the world had just been taken off her shoulders.

 As we walk, Fitz was on my left and Sandor was on my right, with the rest in formation behind us. As we come to big grande doors the would bring us to the meeting room, Councilor Bronte stoped and turned around "I'm afraid, Mr. Vacker, this is were you and the other body guards must stay, only Sandor is permitted." "No. They all come in." I told him sternly. He looked at me with a raised eyebrow, but I held my stare and he finally gave in. "Well everyone is waiting, so here we go." He said, then let out a sigh. I looked over at Fitz who had a big smile on his face and was looked at me like i had just done something awesome. All I could do was smile before the doors opened and we marched in. 

Biana, Stina, Wylie, and Dex were all sitting in there chairs across from the ten seated councilors. As Bronte and Oralie made there way to there seat, my team all looked at me confused and like they all new what was going on. From the look on Biana's face, I'm guessing, she thought that Fitz was going to be a new member of our team. I took a deep breath before going to my spot not bothering to sit. "Were is your crown Miss Foster? I Thought we made it VERY clear that you go now were without wearing it!?" Councilor Alina asked, looking very proud of herself. "And my I ask way Mr. Vacker is here, and Why have you  called this surprise meeting?" " Well, thank you for allowing me to call this meeting. First  of all...." I turned to face my team, and took a deep breath "I'm sorry, but I have to do this." "Do what?" Stina asked, before anyone else could. I turned back to the council not answering her and kept talking. "As you know we recently had a little battle with the Neverseen and I have realized some thing. I have decided to resign from my spot on regiment and as leader of Team Valiant." Everyone was shocked and then all at one they started yelling. After five minutes of this, Councilor Oralie yelled "QUIET!!!!!!!" A nerve rattling quiet hit the place.
