Thorne/Fitz:

Our week of vacation went by fast, but it was so much fun. I love to see Brier happy and everyone else happy for that matter. We had two more days before we left, and today Brier got to pick what do. "No! I'm not wearing that!" Brier yelled from the back room. "Yes, you will!" Monica yelled back as Brier stormed down the hall. She was wearing black cargo, an oversized graphic t-shirt, and military combat boots. I saw nothing wrong with it. I preferred for Brier to dress like that, she looks cute in her military look. "Brier, you get back here!" Monica yelled as Brier stormed into the kitchen. Atlas and I just gave each other a look and went back to eating breakfast. "Atlas, please help me out!" Monica said as she joined us in the kitchen. "Monica, you can't make me wear a tube-top," Brier told Monica as she got breakfast. Atlas just let out a sigh, "Monica, let Brier wear what she wants. Brier, just, I don't know." Brier just looked at Atlas with a raised eyebrow, "Aren't you just a wise guy." "Ok... So where are we going today?" I asked, changing the conversation.

"The book store! And then," she said with a mischievous smile, "The tattoo parlor, and the art store." "Ok, but why the tattoo parlor?" "Because Monica and I want to get our ears pierced!" "Ok, well let's get going!" Sage exclaimed.

As we walked into the book store, Brier's face lite up even more. We have been living in the forbidden cities for about 8 or 9 months. I have learned a lot and a lot about Brier. She has come out of her shell and is no longer just some science experiment, she is a beautiful, amazing, strong, courageous women.  But most of all, she LLLLOOOOVVVEEEESSSSSSSS books.

"You coming?" Brier asked, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Yeah," I said grabbing her hand a following her. Brier new exactly where she is going, she brought us right to the young adult fiction. She looked for a minute then grabbed a book. "How do you know what you're going to get?" I asked as she grabbed a few more books. "I spent last night looking up books to get." She said, with the biggest smile. She had about 8 books in her arms was trying to grab more. "Here, I'll hold them for you," I said grabbing the books from her. She smiled and then went to grab more. "Can I get a book?" Sage asked as she and Bruno followed us through the store. "Of course!" Brier told her, "Do you want the one I told you about last night?" "Yes! I think this is it?" Sage whispered, as she nudged her head at a book. "Yes! Bruno, Thorne, do you guess want anything?" She asked taking half the book out of my arms. "I have better things to do than read silly books," Bruno said in an annoyed voice. "Like what," sage countered. "Ok," Brier said with a laugh, then looked at me. "I'll read some of the ones you are getting." "Really?" She asked in a cheery voice. "Yup! You know, I like reading to." She laughed at that, "Come on let's go find the others." "Brier, are you going to read all 30 of these books?" Atlas asked as we walked to the check-out. "Yes. About 20 of them are for leisurely reading, and the others are for knowledge." She said plopping the books on the counter. "Well, never in my 20 years of working here have I seen a group of kids by this many books! Well let me ring this out and you can get right to reading." The lady said as she started to scan the books.

Sophie/Brier:

"Here you go!" The cashier said handing us our bagged books. "Thank you." I said as we walked out. "Ok! now for the tattoo parlor. I say Brier and Thorne get a couple of tattoos!" Monica said while clapping her hands. "What I thought we were going for you two," Thorne said pointing to Monica and me, "To get your ears pierced?" "I don't want to, but yes that's what we were planning?" I told him. "I'm not against doing what Monica said," Thorne said grabbing my hand as we walked down the street to the parlor. "I'll think about it," I told him.

The tattoo parlor was only 4 blocks from the book store. When we walked in the place was empty. The right wall is covered in pictures of clients and art. The left was is where the counter is where the cash register and other little things. The rest of the room is occupied by empty chairs. They had LED lights on, that gave the room a spooky vibe. Along the right wall is a hallway that led to several back rooms. "Hi! Welcome to Chery Bomb Tattoo, my name is Charel, how may I help you?" A young Lady asked as she came down the hall. She looked to be in her late 20's early 30's. She had ombre hair the went from black to fiery red. "We are thinking about getting a tattoo, and are just looking to see what you have," Thorne told her, giving my hand an encouraging squeeze.
