Fitz pov:

"Chaol!" He said to the boy. He made his way from the corner over to the table and now no one could take their eyes off of him. "Everyone, this is Chaol, Sophie's twin brother. "I sat there num. Brother, Sophie had a brother, a twin brother? How could she not know? How could the Black Swan not tell us? I could feel the anger start to rise inside me, but I promised Sophie. I promised no matter what I would be calm, and not let my anger control me. Taking a deep breath I looked back at him. Chaol and Amy were staring right at each other, shocked by the looks of it. "You died," She whispered just enough for us to here. "Mom said you died. Yo.... you, I... I remember you!" She said squinting at him. "You remember him?" Mr. Forkle asked? Chaol looked at her with compassion, "They removed me from your memory after the accident." Everyone else was silent. His accent was just like Sophies. They both had an accent different from everyone else, it was strange but beautiful at the same time. Grady and Edaline sat there staring at him like he was there long lost child. My parents were looking at the council in shock. Biana sat there, her face was hard to read but seemed like she was trying not to run out of the room. Dex was staring at him mom in disbelief. Tam and Linh sat there watching everyone else. Marella was nodding like she was trying to convince herself that this was real. Wylie, Stina, Marucca, Elwin, and all the bodyguards sat there shocked but almost calm about what was happening.Focusing back on Chaol, I realized he was staring at me. "What?" I asked looking at him with a raised eyebrow and a smirk. He only shrugged in response. I nodded, looking over at Sandor. He had his arms crossed and was glaring at Chaol, looking like he was ready to punch the kids face off. "I made a promise to Sophie, and I am keeping that promise," I said standing up. "A promise?" Lord Cassius laughed, "And what exactly did you promise her?" Before he could comprehend what was happening Grizel had him pinned against the wall with a dagger to his kneck. Sandor and I at the same time started to walk towards them. We both know Grizel would hurt him. "YOU BETTER KEEP YOU MOUTH SHOUT BEFORE I SHUT IT FOR YOU!" She growled at him. "Grizel, come on," I said calmly, as I started to walk out of the room. "That's right, walk away from your problems!" He laughed as we walked out. As soon as he said that it was like a switched flipped. I turned around giving him a smirk. He was a little bigger than me and I knew I could easily take him, plus with the group I had standing with me, he wouldn't last. "You do not want to mess with this group. We are not walking away from our problems, are going to solve them. And sitting in this room in shock does not help. So why you are here, I going to find Sophie, even if we have to do it by ourselves." And with that Sandor, Grizel, Sage, Bruno, and I walked left.

(Chaol Pov:)
After they made their dramatic exit everyone looked back at me. "So..." A kid with strawberry blond eyes and periwinkle eyes said breaking the silence. "How are we going to find Sophie? Can Fitz telepathically reach out to her?" "No!" a brown-haired teal eyed girl said. Everyone looked over at her curiously. "And why not?" Mr. Forkle asked. "Well knowing Fitz he would have already tried, and the past times, um...." She looking around, "From past times this had happened they put that power restricted on her..." She said giving an uncertain smile. Everyone started to discuss ideas, but one person stayed quiet. I recognized him as the people who had adopted Sophie. I may not have been in her life but I had always been in the shadows watching over her in ways I could. He was looking at me, I gave him a slight smile before I walked out the way the others had just left."Where are you going?" Tiergan asked as he followed me out. "I'm going to help the group that left." He gave me a sympathetic smile, "I'll introduce you to them. I think you and Fitz will get along quite well."
