Chapter Seven:

My house phone went off and since we have a cord phone it was in the kitchen. Alex answered it, "Hello?"

I couldn't hear who he was talking to but he called me over. He was laughing as he handed me the phone to talk and went to sit down. Suddenly my best friend and soul sister Jade's voice came through the phone, "Crap girl!"

I was laughing, "What did he say?" I was a little suspicious now as I stared at him.

I could tell she had a big smile on just like me. "Nothing'.... Hey, can I stop over? I need a place while my room is getting repainted."

"Absolutely! Come on over." Jade didn't live to far from me; only down the street. She was over in less than five minutes.

I saw her brown hair first, pin straight, then her big brown eyes and make up. Jade always looked pretty but even more today. "Hi hi!" she hugged me tightly and walked in my house placing a bag on the stairs.

I realized she was wearing a low tank top and skin tight jeans. Jade has a beautiful form with plenty of curves. I asked her who she was trying to hook up with but she laughed.

We walked over to Alex and Jeremy and introduced one another. She talked with Alex a while on the couch which made me sit on the only other available seat, the small chair with Jeremy.

We were scrunched up against one another and it was weird. I got up and stormed off outside. It was snowing again and I stood there in my light clothing.

That's when I heard the door behind me. It was locked, the blinds closed. I stood in the cold freezing. It was only a few degrees. I heard a music player going off playing my favorite song 'Grenade by Bruno Mars'.

I followed the sound into the forest forgetting about my I guess boyfriend, best friend/sister, and Jeremy. I wandered deeper in the forest the snow piling up to about mid-calf.
