Chapter Three:

Alexis's Point of View

I laid there unmoving and half asleep as my bedroom door creaked open a person sliding through the small opening. I suddenly sat up in my bed my eyes adjusting in the light.

"I'm sorry, I can't sleep," the silky voice said. I laid a hand over my heart finally regaining my breath. "I didn't mean to scare you, sorry," Alexander softly spoke.

I pushed the covers off my bed and stood up fixing my shirt from my restless couple hours of sleep. I felt still half asleep but I grabbed the front  of his solid navy blue shirt and walked down the stairs slipping on the wood with my socks.

It was freezing in the living room as I laid blankets on the couch for us to sit on. I placed a DVD in the player- some movie about vampires and wizards. We both awkwardly sat next to each other on the couch but after a while we began chatting when he reminded men, "You never delighted me with your name." we had both smiled and laughed.

"It's a secret," I whispered and placed my index finger over my lips. He smiled and raised his eyebrows making it easier to stare into his chocolate brown eyes.

Suddenly he grabbed my hand from my mouth and held it in his. "Then I'll just have to tickle it out you!"

The couch was suddenly pressed against my back as Alexander tickled me. I laughed uncontrollably as his body was above mine buy a few inches and he leaned down and pressed his lips to mine.

His lips tasted like something sweet and I was intoxicated at the taste. I closed my eyes kissing back my toes tingling in my socks. We separated after a few seconds as we stared into each other's eyes.

I pushed him off me and got off the couch. All my brains were coming back to me and I realized I had know idea how he appeared in my backyard, how he was injured, and who exactly he was.

But I didn't notice the doorbell had rung. I walked over wondering who would come over so early. I answered the door letting it open widely. There stood one of my closest guy friends, and by the smell of it he didn't seem sober. "Jason?"

Jason stepped into my house, right too close to me and wrapped his arms around me and started kissing me. I couldn't push away the football athlete although I managed to moved my face to get my lips free.

I was pushed into a wall and found Alexander standing between us. I would thank him later. Alexander said softly, "It's tine for you to leave." Jason did leave after a few more slurred words.

Alex was over to me holding my hands, "Are you alright?"

I looked up and smiled, "I am now." Somehow we ended up making out on my couch until we fell asleep and he gently placed me in my bed. I made him stay since I was too cold.

Little did i know what would go on a few hours later....
