The Boy From My Backyard: Chapter Ten

Chapter Ten:

I spoke the words before i realized it, "oh crap." they both started at me eyes kinds freaking me out. The girl raised her hand to me and I took it my mind releasing any other thought than this. The girl was wearing a baggy dress that fell to the floor in pure white with long sleeves. The sleeves had thumb holes for her thumbs and I thought it was amazingly cool.

She led me up some stairs into the gazebo where the music played. The boy clicked the button off and placed it off to the side. The girl spoke, "Who are you?"

I replied best as I could, "Alexis. And you two?"

"I'm Victoria and this is my brother, Will. Why are you in these parts of the woods?"

I answered, "I heard your music and followed the sound..."

Will nodded, "We've been getting that a lot lately, you stupid Americans." I realized these were not Americans but Romanians, from my favorite country.

"You two look cold, come back to my place." I took them each by the hand and went back to my house. I sat the by the fire while I went upstairs. I realized that Jeremy, Alex, and Jade were missing.

I heard the phone ring, "Park 8:00." they hung up. Suddenly I heard gunfire, a scream, and then weeping. I rushed down to bleeding Will, Victoria crying into his shirt.
