Harry and Draco thought that Hermione had left to go to the great hall for lunch. They were only half right. She did indeed go to the great hall, but instead she loaded her bag with sweet little foods. She then ran as quickly as she could without raising suspicion to the room of requirement. She went in and found a certain black haired Slytherin curled up on a loveseat by a fireplace. Wordlessly Hermione went over to the large picnic blanket on the floor directly in front of the fireplace and laid out some plates with sandwiches, pasties and a whole load of other foods and drinks.
"Pansy come on, lunch is ready" Hermione dragged the girl back to reality. "I need to talk to you about something..." Hermiones voice trailed off as Pansys breathing got faster and her eyes started watering. "No no no no no not that! Pans it's okay, I love you. It's just... you see when you kissed me at the station in the crowd? Well Harry was watching for me and he saw you come up to me. I tried to cover but he saw through it. After that I couldn't hide it. He knows everything, I'm so sorry, I know I said I'd keep it a secret but I couldn't!" The girl almost broke down as Pansy hugged her tightly. "That's all it is? Mione, it's okay! It's been almost 4 years, I'm okay if people know now. I don't mind being who I am, and you shouldn't either." Pansy didn't know anything about Ro. She didn't know much about Hermiones home life in general. She didn't want her to worry. "I know, it's just being gay, lesbian, bi, whatever you call yourself unless it's straight you'll get people hating you." Pansy smiled sadly. "The wizarding world is so much more accepting." Hermione knew but it was still hard. "I know Hun, I know" she replied.
Wordlessly agreeing to end the conversation, Pansy sat beside her girlfriend and took her face in her hand. Seeing the tears begin to fall, she gently wiped them away with her thumb and pulled Hermione closer. Slowly, they both closed their eyes as they leant in, lips meeting softly but passionately. Food forgotten about, they climbed onto the loveseat without breaking the kiss. Hermione laid back, her brown hair spread over the cushion supporting her head as she pulled Pansy on top of her by her neck and the back of her head. The other girl didn't need encouraging. Tangling her hands in the soft brown locks, Pansy began kissing more intensely. They eventually pulled away, both panting as if they'd run a marathon, both smiling all giddy. Hand in hand they sat down and began to eat, suddenly starving hungry. Time flew by as they talked about whatever came to mind. Before they knew it, they were late for class. A class they shared. Hermione started freaking out. "Pans it's gonna be obvious! Everyone's gonna know!" She cried. "Mione shh, it's alright, you go on ahead, I'll clean up the food, and take a different longer route to class. We'll arrive at different times and no one will know, okay?" She smiled as Hermione nodded and gave Pansy one last kiss and hug goodbye before grabbing her bag and running to class.
