The night went pretty smoothly for the group. Not much happened:
Alyssa slept on Leo's bed while he slept on the floor. He didn't want to be disrespectful towards her, so he insisted too while she disagreed and felt bad for it. He reassured her that it was fine and then proceeded to sleep. On the floor. Alyssa thought the bed was bad anyway, though better than the couch, and made a mental note to never sleep over again, or at least sleep on the floor. She should save up enough to buy these poor boys better beds. That thought was fleeting as she headed off to sleep anyway.
Donatello and Keirsten didn't sleep much at all, however. Donnie stayed up most of the night working on the finishing touches to the transactional electromagnetic thingy ('a steroidal van' Keirsten thought), and Keirsten had asked to borrow his computer to work on a python project. (Donnie agreed seeing as they seemed to know what they are doing.) Keirsten went to sleep before Donnie decided it was time for bed too.
Raph was fairly surprised to hear about the sleeping arrangements. He didn't want to sleep on the floor, but Harlee said it was okay if they sleep together. That thought made Raph blush a little. It was a bit shocking to Harlee to wake up at 6 AM to see him face to face with her and holding her with his right arm. It didn't make her uncomfortable like it would in most situations seeing as she could use this as joking blackmail for later.
Mikey and Jessica also slept in the same bed, but being separated by building a wall between them with pillows (which later evolved into a pillow fort of sorts, Jessica made Mikey sleep outside of it whilst she claimed the inside). They laughed and joked for a good part of the night, and got to know more about each other before falling asleep.
In the morning the group left back to their shared apartment saying how they'll be back later that night or the next day after school. "Just soon" Alyssa had told them.
The turtles then got together to tell each other their shared experiences with them, all of which being Mikey's idea.
*Mikeys POV*
"-and then we made a fort! A pillow fort! It was pretty much the best night of my life, I had to sleep outside of it though, but that's okay! She was great and funny and pretty," He listed off her qualities on all three of his fingers, and when he ran out just said "-and everything else!"He looked at his brothers and grinned, really happy he had his first sleepover with someone he thought was as fun as Jessica. She was quiet for the beginning of it but Mikey used his "charm" to rid her of any discomfort. Usually he'd get called annoying for something like that, but Jessica only gave him a look and laughed! Albeit the laugh was awkward, it was still enough to urge him to go on! That's how the rest of the night went until Jessica finally came out of her shell (pun intended) and started joking with him. Honestly it was awkward before it was fun, but isn't everything?
He wouldn't tell the brothers about that part. He'd tell them the fun bits, since those were the most memorable and funny. They were important to Mikey, and he had finally felt somewhat normal. Sleepovers were normal, and so were pillow forts and laughing with friends. Last night was important for Mikey because it gave him a bit of clarity; he was always trying to have fun, but this was his normal. He has always been surrounded by mutants and weirdness that that had become his normal. Ever since the night with the cat and the man freaking out he had realized just how 'un'normal they were. They'd never be allowed in view of public eye, ever.
But what sticks out to Mikey was how normal Jessica made him feel. The fun, pizza loving turtle had never known normal and he didn't realize how great it made him feel, like he wasn't a mutant turtle who practiced ninjitsu and saved the city and multiple friends from evil robots with brains in their stomachs, but like a teenager who just built a pillow fort with his new really pretty friend who was spending the night.
