The Lair

"You don't speak for all of us and why are we in the sewer?!" Harlee snapped.

"Yeah, why does it smell so bad down here..." Jess asked.

"Jessica honey it's the sewer." Harlee grumbled.

"So?"

"The sewer!"

"What does that have to do with it-"

"The s e w e r!"

"Ohh"

"Jessica sweetie your supposed to be one of the the smart ones, c'mon, you did our math in 7th grade!" Keirsten added.

"Sorry for the interruption, but we're here." Said Leo, a bit annoyed.

"So what kind of tests will you be running on us?" Asked Keirsten to Donnie. "Do you think the others will have powers?"

"Well, based on what you told me about the mutagen, yes. I do think you guys will have powers. What confuses me is that usually when mutagen makes contact with anything biotic their whole body mutates. That's what happened to my brothers and I, and didn't happen to you guys."

"Ooo! What if they weren't humans before their mutation thing happened! What if they were hideous creatures with powers and the powers stayed but they got turned into normal humans!" - Mikey

"What if I smack you?" -Harlee

"Mikey if they were hideous creatures before I'm pretty sure you guys would get along great." -Raph

"Look you calling us hideous is very flattering and all, but I have questions. So you were humans before the goo came into the picture?" Asked Alyssa, completely done with her life and the bickering brothers.

"It's not 'goo,' its 'mutagen'," Donnie seemed a bit irritated. "And no actually, I won't go into detail but we were actually just normal turtles."

The turtles were leading the group into this...garage looking thing. It was a big open space with large doors and a bunch of science equipment inside. Stuff like vials filled with different colored chemicals and large mechanical looking things in the corner. There was a desk with a picture of a ginger girl and Donnie smiling. It had hearts on the frame. On the opposite end of the wall with the desk was a space for a rather large van with lots of colorful graffiti all over it. There were anatomy posters on the wall behind the desk and a couple beat up looking nightstand things a little ways away from the main desk. The girls and Keirsten were in awe. Keirsten loved it.

"So we're going to be conducting a series of tests I, Donatello, made up myself. We're going to see if the rest of you ladies have powers and what they are. So let's get started!"

Keirsten was annoyed with the constant misconception of being a girl, but they stayed quiet for the time being.

First, he had Leo meditate with them. Well, try to meditate with them. The idea was to tap into their inner selves and unlock their powers or something, but Jessica wouldn't stop talking and whispering, and Harlee spontaneously laughed throughout the whole thing, and Keirsten kept asking if they were doing it right, and Alyssa couldn't concentrate so she gave up ten minutes ago.
