When we got back to the house i saw Steven reading some books he looks over at us on the Warp Pad and runs over to greet us.
He's the sweetest!
" You're back!" Steven said smiling as he looks at us and finally notices several Flask Robonoids we have been carrying
" Hey, it's those things from the Galaxy Warp. Why'd you bring them home?" He asked
" They're cute." I said with a smirk, Pearl sighed
" No. We can't have them reactivating and fixing the Homeworld Warp."
" Hey Steven, check this out! Kabloosh!" Ame shouted and crushes the Flask Robonoid in her hands, spilling green goo all around her and startling Pearl who bumped into me, causing us to drop the Flask Robonoids in our hands
Pearl and were now covered in goo " Amethyst, please! This is serious! We need to understand these things, not squash them. If Homeworld Gems are trying to return to Earth..." She started to panic " THEY HAVE TO BE STOPPED!"
I sighed out an looked around at the not so big mess on myself
" Pearl, calm down. We're still cut off. The Earth is safe." Garnet said
" Safe from what? What do the Homeworld Gems want to do?" Steven pryed
Pearl exchanges looks with Garnet while i just stared at them
" Steven, a very long time ago, Gems tried to do something..." Pearl trailed off so i added something in
" Very bad." I said as Pearl looks at Ame and I, Ame quickly turns away
" It was something that would have damaged the Earth. Some Gems, like your mother, Indy, Garnet, and myself, felt that this was unfair to the life that already existed here, and so we swore to never let the Earth be used for their... purposes. Even if it meant-"
Ame approaches another Flask Robonoid and crushes it underneath her foot upset. *
I sighed and rubbed my arm " -Even if it meant we could never go home. not that it matters though!" I said
" We chose Earth." Garnet said as i leant against her
" Wait a sec, so that means... we're just like the No Home Boys!" Stevens said excitedly
" The wha-?" Pearl tried to ask
" The No Home Boys! It's a book series about these boys who have no home. So they travel around the country, living in boxcars, and riding river rafts, solving mysteries! They had a successful run, until the disastrous graphic novel adaptation. But my favorite story is this classic one where the no home boys are chased across the countryside by a mysterious pursuer, which turns out to be the very fear resting within themselves." Steven said
" Steven, we are not like the No Home Boys. We are literally standing in your home right now." Pearl said
I pecked Garnet's cheek before her and Pearl walked off
" Aw, I wish, I was a No Home Boy. No past, no future, just the open road!" Steven said
" Yeah, sounds like fun." Ame said casting me a glance
" Let's do it!" I cheered
" Really?!" Steven asked
" Yeah. Let's run!" Ame said
Steven, Ame and I pack some food in our own bindles on sticks.
We leave the house and walk through Beach City, when Jenny, Buck Dewey and Sour Cream offer to give us a ride in Jenny's Car. I cheered and placed both arms high above my head feeling the breeze blow back my hair and woosh against my face Steven smiled while Ame gazed at me with a light tint to her cheeks. They drive Steven, Ame and I to the edge of Beach City, and we run off into the countryside. We encounter a Raccoon and it joined us on our travel, but then it attacks Steven as Ame looks on in laughter while holding me back from tearing the raccoon apart. We eventually come across a railroad as a train is passing by Ame threw Steven aboard and then tossed me on before jumping on herself. It was getting late the sun was setting as we watch it from atop the boxcar.
