2024, Prague, Age 15.

Cassie's POV:

As our class made our way to the opera, I thought about the whole situation. It made me nervous, but I knew it had to be done.

"You look really pretty." Peter said to me.

"Thanks. You too." I replied with a smile. "So... did you want to sit together?" I asked him.

Peter paused for a moment.

"No." He said.

"Oh, uh... okay." I said before walking towards the front seats.

"Roxi." Fury said sternly through the comm I had in my ear. "Are you in position?"

I turned around a walked towards the exit.

"On my way." I stated.

I exited the opera building and grabbed my new suit and my gadgets that Beck had handed me. I put on the suit, which was black and grey, with a skirt overtop the leggings, and the eyes were blue instead of the typical pink. I fastened the gadgets on my hands and made sure that they worked, which they did as my powers were displayed as light blue instead of white.

"Perfect." I muttered to myself before flying away and reaching my position, in the carnival area, on a building across from Peter.

After a while of waiting, cracks, fiery cracks began to form in the ground as people began to run away. I drew out a blue spear, to twist things up, and waited. Just then, a medium sized monster made of fire and lava emerged from the ground. Beck then flew in on Peter's signal.

"We can't let it touch any metal. If it touches metal, it will get bigger, and then we won't be able to stop it." Beck informed us.

"Not a problem." I said.

The elemental then grabbed at some metal poles close to it and increased in size.

"Sort of a problem." I corrected myself.

Peter and I ran around the elemental as we both shot at the elemental, though not much damage seemed to be done. We both rolled in front of the Ferris wheel and stopped when we heard a voice.

"Night-Monkey! Skylighter! Help!"

We looked above us and saw two people stuck in the Ferris wheel. Specifically, Ned and Betty, who had probably snuck out of the opera. Maybe they saw me leave or something to that extent.

"Are they talking to us?" I asked Peter, confused.

"I think so." Peter answered.

The elemental got it's fiery hands on more metal and grew even more in size.

"We can't let it touch the Ferris wheel!" Beck exclaimed.

Peter shot his webs at the elemental, but since it was made of fire, it simply burnt his webbing. I flew behind it as it turned to the Ferris wheel; and latched onto it with my powers, preventing it from moving a much as possible. I pulled its arms back as hard as I could until suddenly, something hit me in the face, knocking me on the ground. The elemental turned to me, angered; can't blame it; but I was still on the ground. That was, until Peter shot a web at my shoulder and yanked me off the ground. The elemental turned back to the Ferris wheel.

"No no no no no!!" I exclaimed.

Peter and I sped over to the carriage that Ned and Betty were in to hold it together. Beck looked at the elemental.
