Worst Heartbreak, Best Dream

Chapter 1

It was a warm and sunny day. My best friend Elizabeth and I hit the beach for spring beach today. It was really great because there wasn't a large amount of people, but I think that was because there were some contests a few miles down.

Hey more peaceful for us.

"Man no guys to check out!" Liz said implying we find a different spot. "No. It's just supposed to be us right now." We laid out our towels and relaxed. I played my music out loud because we were practically alone. We laid there with twenty minute timers, so we would know to flip listening to my favorite bands. I've been laying out for about fourty minutes, with two even rotations. When we hear people splashing around and yelling. I look up and there are four boys splashing.They look tired. We always bring an extreme amount of water because drinking it makes you tan better. I elbowed Liz. She glanced at me then the bag. "Hey do you guys want any water?! We have plenty!" she yelled to them. They immediately stopped and I mean who wouldn't? Liz was a girl with an hourglass shape, but not tiny, she was full figured and her bathing suit would show it off amazingly. She had shoulder length, blonde hair, and her sunglasses pushed back on top of her head. She knew just how to stand to make a boy go crazy. Her body language was always readable but not too overpower. It's sort of like a hint. Right now it was if she was telling them to come up here. As for me I was on the shorter side, 5 ft 2. My hair was dark brown with lighter natural highlights. I was small and skinny. I was well tanned because I loved the beach and spent most of my time here at the beach. I learned how to surf since I've been here for a while, but Liz was still flawless. The boys shrugged and came up to us. They looked familiar but I couldn't recall where I had seen them. One caught my eye though; he was a cute boy with greatly tanned skin and brown hair with his big brown eyes. I couldn't help but stare. I was alarmed by cold water being put in my hand, I jumped. "Here give these to our guests." She said widening her eyes saying hurry up. "Oh right whoops, here guys." I said handing them their drinks. When I got to the last one I handed him his drink and our hands touched, I sucked in and smiled.

His touch left my hand tingling. "So hi my name is Liz. What are yours?" she asked trying to start a conversation. The tall blonde boy plopped down on her towel, "My name is Luke Hemmings." He flashed a smile but seemed nervous. Then next boys to introduce themselves were Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford. I sat there thinking to myself that those names sounded familiar. The last boy said "Um hi my name is Calum and before you assume I'm not Asian." I couldn't help but giggle a little and smile like an idiot when he talked. I think he heard me because he started laughing at me laughing. All of them seemed to be on edge. "I'm Emily nice to meet you guys we were-"cut off by Liz. "I found you guys on twitter!" Liz exclaimed. "I knew you guys looked familiar, you're from 5SOS." She was saying, they looked ready to run at any moment. "Yeah We're in a band. We kinda suck." Calum said smiling. I elbowed her and gave her a glare, forgetting about hiding my face I made at her. She got the message. Shut up. "Sorry about her. I'm really good at keeping secrets and you guys seem really chill. If you maybe want to stay and hang out for a bit, I don't mind. It's not like I'll have a whole crowd of girls here in two minutes and neither will she." I said snatching her phone from her. They seemed unsure but Calum spoke out "That's fine with me, I don't know about you guys." They all nodded and said alright. "Do you guys want to get something to eat?" I asked. "It's like you read my mind." Luke responded. We all piled up in my jeep. I drove to this amazing pizza place a mile or two down the beach, being conscious of the contest further down the beach. "What's this?" Michael asks curiously. "Only the best pizza place ever!" Liz screams. "PIZZAA!!" Calum screams. Luke explains that pizza is Calum's favorite food. I tell them to stay in the car while I go in and get us seats. I get a reserved room like the ones for a birthday party, well because that's what I said it was for. I came out and got them, and then we took our seats. We spend about an hour or so there then we leave. Ashton is getting along with Liz really well and I could tell she liked him. We coincidentally were staying at the same hotel as them. They asked me to drop them off at the back door. Luke and Ashton asked if Liz wanted to come. She said yes and I gave her phone back to her. I whispered to her "You can't tell anyone or they will hate us and we can never talk to them again." I was so serious and knew she wouldn't mess things up for me.
