Chapter 3

I told him I needed pj’s so I had to go get some from my room. He insisted I sleep in a pair of basketball shorts and a muscle shirt. It was about 11:00pm when I asked “So where am I sleeping?” he busted out with uncontrollable laughter, that was completely adorable. “What?” I asked smiling at his reaction to my question. “Well you can sleep in the bed with me, I don’t bite… hard.” He winked and started laughing again. I loved his laugh, his voice, and his accent. I hadn’t heard him sing yet. Maybe he will if I bring it up. He slept in his shorts and shirtless. I still didn’t want him to be uncomfortable so I laid almost on the edge of the huge bed. I had laid there for about five minutes when his voice startled me, “Cold, shy, freaked out? Which one are you right now, you’re acting like I have a disease. Why?” I thought about it and answered. “I’m just trying to be respectful, I don’t read minds Calum. I don’t know what you want or are comfortable with.” I finished talking and felt him scoot closer. “What if I made that a little clearer for you and you tell me if you’re comfortable?” he asked. I was fine with that. “Well is cuddling okay? I’m a cuddler.”

“Yes that’s fine.” I responded. “Okay good.” I felt a jolt of energy surge through my body and I was nowhere close to tired when his hands wrapped around me and pulled me closer. He was so warm and smelled so great. He scent was enticing. I was sort of in a trance of Calum Hood. Before I was fully aware of what I was doing my hands were sliding up his arms. He has great biceps, and then I was playing with his soft hair. “Emily?” by then I had already turned to face him. It was around 12:00am and I could see him in the dim light of the moon, his brown eyes, adorable face, and kissable lips. “Yes Calum?” I whispered what seemed a little more seductive than I had intended. He did the sexiest smirk I had ever seen in my life. “Can I um… can I maybe if you’re okay with it… um ki-“I cut him off by softly pressing my lips on his soft ones. I can’t even describe the amount of energy that hit me when our lips touched. It was like a spark of electricity. Like I was struck by lightning and Calum was the lightning. We both pulled away, “Wow” Calum breathed out. “Yeah I never expected it to suck so badly.” He frowned “I meant wow the energy between us.” I couldn’t control my laughter. “I was kidding Cal, can I call you that?”

“Yeah you call me anytime and anything.” He laughed his enchanting laugh. I asked if he would sing to me and he did. He sand “Beside You” by his band. They didn’t kinda suck, they were great.

Within a minute I was all packed up
