Is this late? Yes. Did I say it wouldn't be? Yes. I have good reason I swear. So the corona shut down everything and I'm not allowed to leave my house without permission, and so many things have been canceled :/. It's a lot and I needed a minute.
Rly sorry :/.
They spilled from his mouth like oil. Spiraling onto the little page in front of Izuku. Scanning over them, he made many conclusions. The hints. All For One may be the number one villain, but he isn't the number one genius. He makes mistakes just like anyone else, and Izuku made it his goal to pick up on them. Days passed, and It was now the next Monday; Izuku still hadn't made a conclusion about the hints. He had made a different conclusion, though. There is going to be another attack soon. That much he knew, and he was going to stop it.
Izuku had a vague idea of what it was. Someone who was not associated with the League would do it, and it would be at the time of the Sports Festival. How his dad knew this, he didn't know, but he suspected that even though this person wasn't in the League, he was in kahoots with them. His dad was not a genius, but Izuku wasn't either. Some hints still passed over his head, some things didn't make sense, and some things seemed too obvious.
There was a tap on his shoulder.
"Hey, Midoriya. You good?"
Izuku saw the pink hand recede from his shoulder, and he turned around.
Mina.
"Yeah, I'm good." Izuku put on a smile.
"You sure? You were spacing out there. Class is about to start soon."
"Don't worry about it."
A curt nod came from the pink girl, her hair bobbing up and down as she went back to her respected seat. Class started and continued as usual. The classmates trained for the Sports Festival that was happening very soon. Izuku worked on new moves he wanted to try, but his mind wasn't completely there. He kept thinking about that little notebook on his desk back at his dorm. Maybe he should have hidden it better.
School had ended with the class choosing hero names. Izuku thought that all of them were extraordinary, even his, which he had chose as 'Deku'.
The day continued as normal. The walk back to the dorm was normal. Conversations, smiles, homework, It was all normal. And nothing scared Izuku more than the normality. It was too tranquill. Too nice. Izuku didn't like it. It gave a foreboding atmosphere. It hung a cloud of uneasiness over his head, and Izuku couldn't escape.
The quiet uneased him. The noise terrified him. The calm was unsettling. The chaotic was nails on a chalkboard. Nothing seemed to fit in Izuku's mind. It was a two piece puzzle, but the pieces were different sizes. He hated this. The knowledge he has. He just wants to live life normally - or as normally as you can live as a hero in training.
Izuku continued on to his dorm quietly, not wanting to say a word. He knew his voice would crack if he did. The stress was breaking him slowly, and eventually he would snap. It was a matter of when.
