It was dark.

'But why.'

Oh so very dark

'Is this purple?'

Where was he?
God, Izuku couldn't remember for the life of him. What had happened before?

'I was taken?'

He was taken.

'But where?'

He doesn't know.

The bright shade of purple suffocated him. It smelled awful. What was this? A portal? That mist guy had a portal quirk, right? The purple reminds him too much of his father. His bastard of a father - damn he was tired. But in his defence,

Shock was one hell of a drug

The bright light of the sun shone on his face, and he was forced to close his eyes.

'Am I out of the portal?'

His knees gave out under his legs; he swayed in place before hitting the ground with a thud. People were all around him, but he couldn't make out the faces.

"He probably has no idea what's going on." A voice said. It was raspy. It sounded like nails on a chalkboard. It caught in his throat and came out in long, scratchy gasps for air. The voice - it just sounded evil, "portals always make people disoriented."

"Sorry about that." Another voice came into hearing. This one sounded kind. Kind? These were villains, right? All he could see was a purple blob, then a black outline. A suit maybe? But what was the purple? Kindness isn't a trait villains have. What's going on? "I've tried to work on it being less sickening to the person inside."

"Yeah, whatever," the first person spoke up, and Izuku flinched at his voice, "we have the kid now; all we gotta do is wait for that loud and obnoxious blonde bimbo to come breaking the door down." He sounded excited.

Izuku's vision was clearing, and he could see properly. His legs were regaining strength.

'I can't let them know that, though. Play weak. Catch them off guard.'

"And you," damn his voice was bad, "you are the king on our chess table. Our greatest pawn in this filthy game. I suggest you be a good boy and keep laying there. Struggling will only end up with you getting hurt."

Izuku didn't dare move. His eyes shone brightly with hatred and determination, but he remained on the ground.

He could hear them. The struggles of his classmates. The mist guy must have warped them off somewhere in groups. Their attacks are all over the dome; echoing throughout the walls. Everyone had a fight to be won, but oh boy his was the hardest.

He knows who one of these people are. Shigaraki. His dad mentioned him and his quirk at some point in one of their meaningless conversations. His quirk was Decay. Anything he touched would corrode away right then and there, and Izuku wanted nothing to do with that.

"Why do you want me." He lifted his head ever so slightly. A fake attempt in fighting off his weakness. "What are you after."

"Just sit back and watch the show," the man, who Izuku could now see had hands all over his body, had said. It was disgusting. Those were human hands. He killed those people in order to get them, and he was wearing them like trophies. He could smell the sickening scent of decaying bodies off of them; he could hear the screams of the people they were from; the pained looks on their faces as they slowly died in agony.

'A mother.' His dad had said. 'A mother, a father, a sister, and grandparents.'

He wore his dead family like toys. Accessories.

A crash echoed through the dome. The attacks stopped. The villains went quiet. No one dared move.

"EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT," a voice boomed over the deafening silence, "WHY? BECAUSE I AM HERE!"

Izuku recognizes that voice - hell - anyone could recognize that voice. He took this chance as the villains were distracted to fight back. He quickly pushed up with his hands and brought a hard knee to Shigaraki's face.

"Oh you little shit." The handy man said, spitting blood out of his mouth. "So that's how you wanna play, huh, daddy's boy?"

"Call me that again and you can say goodbye to your future children." Izuku warned.

"I don't care what master said," Shigaraki completely ignored Izuku, "you may be his son, but that won't stop me from absolutely destroying you."

Shigaraki thrust a hand at him, but Izuku dodged and brought a kick down on the man's spine. He twisted in mid-air to narrowly miss an attack from one of the cannon fodder villains, but fell right into Shigaraki's line of sight. They were so close now. Almost breathing down each other's necks. He couldn't dodge this one. Only decrease his chance of death. He looked around; looking for angles to dodge somewhat out of the way. Izuku noticed that Shigaraki's center of gravity was tilted all the way to the right. He was aiming for his neck. Dodge left. He won't be able to react fast enough to kill.

"Got you now, daddy's boy." Shigaraki said with a snarl. He lunged at the boy, hands outstretched, and made contact with his side just as Izuku swerved.

Shigaraki has only barely brushed him - barely made contact, but the pain was immense. Izuku could feel his skin slowly peeling off. His exposed muscles and  gushing out blood from his wound. It wasn't deep enough to show bone, but it sure felt that way. It was on the far left side of his torso, just next to his ribs. He could gauge the size of it.

'It's covering about half of my stomach.' Izuku grimaced. He was losing blood, and he was losing it fast. Shigaraki hadn't gone deep enough to get his organs, but if this kept up, he would die of blood loss.

The boy fell backwards, but he didn't make contact with the ground. Something caught him right before.

"Young Midoriya, you fought bravely," a voice whispers in his ear. He could feel his side being bandaged up, "but now it is my turn to help."

"But, All Might," Izuku cracked open his eyes slightly, "they have something. They have a weapon to beat you with. They've been waiting for you. You-"

"My Young Boy, you don't have to worry. It will be fine. Whatever they have will be no match for me."

All Might turned his back to the wounded student.

"I'm here now. There's no need for worry."
