Mikayla's POV

It's been a few weeks since the party ( 3 to be exact ), me and jabez have gotten wayyyy closer then we were before like; he is always over at mine or i'm at his and we always be hooping together. Over these few weeks i've been trying to keep my "feelings" to my self because I don't want to seem desperate. Jabez did tell me last week he liked me but he said that it didn't matter what I felt towards him at the moment and that he would wait for me to be ready which was really sweet.

The last bell of the day just rang and i'm on my way to find Don. Him and I got pairs to do a chem project together and we were meant to start working on it today but I forgot that Jabez and I were meant to meet up in the gym to play basketball. Jiggy and I planned to met by his locker so I started making my way there.

I finally made it to the block his lockers in and was about to turn the corner when I heard my name being said.

?: Which Mikayla? the nerdy one or the one Jabez is playing with?

Jiggy's POV

I  was waiting for Mikayla when Tommy came up to asking to hang.

T: Ayo keen to hang with the boys tonight?

Ji: Can't, i'm working on a project with Mikayla

T: Which Mikayla? the nerdy one or the one Jabez is playing with?

J: The one Jabez is playing wit-

M: What the fuck?

Oh shit

Mikayla's POV

M: What?!

He's playing me? this whole time? I fucking knew I shouldn't have trusted him!!! Ugh for fuck sake!

J: Mikayla! You weren't meant to hear that.

M: Hear what?! that Jabez was playing me?

J: *sighs* I'm sorry, go talk to Jabez though he's problably the only one who can explain this

I stormed off heading towards the gym, who does he think he is?! Telling me he LIKES me but goes telling his friends that he's just playing me? the fuck?

I enter the gym and see him about to do a layout when I yell, we were the only ones in here.

M: WHAT THE FUCK JABEZ?!

J: What? * he asks shocked *

M: "wHaT" * I mimic *

M: YOU TELL ME WHAT! You tell me you have FEELINGS for me and get closer to me just for me to find out THAT YOU WERE PLAYING?!

J: I-

I cut him off

M: I TRUSTED YOU AND TOLD YOU THINGS ABOUT ONLY MY BROTHERS KNOW! IN WHAT CONTEXT ARE YOU "playing" ME? * I say pulling up 2 fingers on hand mimicking speech marks *

M: TO GET INTO MY PANTS? * I say while pushing his chest back *

M: TO GAIN MORE FOLLOWERS?! * I push him again *
