Mikayla's POV

We just got to school, the anger in both of their eyes was some what scary to me. As much as I don't want to admit it, I don't want them to hurt Jabez.. Yeah he's being an asshole for no fucking reason, yeah he hurt me- physically. But he was there for me when I needed him and if it wasn't for him, I would probably ended up suicidal and in deep depression, he gave me the hope I needed back then.. Ughh but why does he have to be such a dick now?!

We walk into school and the boys stop to look around, Antonio stops and stares in one direction hitting Tyrone to indicate him to stare in that direction as well. They both do, but before they run off I grab both their arms. They slightly fall back from the shock not knowing I was going to do that. I pull them aside.

M: Don't..

A: Don't what?!

M: Don't hurt him.. * I say sighing *

T: Why tf not?

A: He hurt you Kay!

M: I know, I know.. * pause *

M: But he helped me..

A: What are you talking about?

T: He gave you bruises Kayla how did that help you?!

They both say with utter confusion.

M: No i'm not talking about last night. I'm talking about 5 years ago..

A: What?

M: He was my only friend.. He was there for me guys.

T: We were there for you Kay not him.

M: But he was! He stuck up for me when I was getting bullied for hav in g braces and glasses, He didn't care about how I looked. He knew that what the other kids were doing wasn't right, and he stuck up for me..

A: So your saying we should let him off the hook? your trippin Kay..

M: No, maybe- yeah.. * I say while face palming *

M: Don't hurt him physically okay.. Just scare him off, he won't do it again!

T: Kay look at your waist! "He won't do it again" ?! He literally did that to you while we were right next to you!

A: And you think we ain't gon let him pay for that shit?!

M: I just don't want attention you guys.. I want to enjoy this year, not have to worry about him or you guys getting into fights please.

T: * sighs *

A: Kay.. * sighs * fine

A: But at least let us talk to him.

M: Okay..

They immediately make their way over to Jabez, I slowly follow behind but I get stopped by someone grabbing me. Leila.

L: Hey gurl long time no see!

M: Ha ha yeahh * I say awkwardly *

L: Quit playing with me, what's up?

M: Jabez drama..

L: That nigga again?

M: Yea-

A: Don't fucking touch her AGAIN!!

I got interrupted by Tonio screaming at Jabez..

M: SHIT!

I make my way over there.

M: Okay Tonio, Thats enough.

A: I swear to god if you touch her again i'll-

J: You'll what? beat the fuck outta me? You had the chance to do it 2 seconds ago and you didn't.

T: Oh we can do it now if you really wan-

M: No stop let's just walk away..

J: Yeah listen to the slut-

Tyrone suddenly punches him in the face.

M: Ty!

T: Don't fucking call her that again! okay nigga?!

J: * spits out the small amount of blood out of his mouth from the force of the punch *

T: Okay nigga?!

J: Don't fucking call me nig-

M: Let's go!

I pull Antonio and Tyrone away.. I talked to them and they both agreed that they would stay away from him for today. But they made me promise if anything happened then I have to tell them, Ughhh it's gonna be a long day.

                                 Jabez's  POV

After being punched in the face, I felt guilt come upon me. Why did I fucking hurt her last night?! What the fuck is wrong with me?! My thoughts are quickly interrupted by the noises of whispering and phones going off. "Great" Someone problably recorded that. shit! Then just that reminded me.. Me! I'm the captain! I'm the STAR basketball player! This is my fucking school! And I stg if they get any "popularity" from that ducking video ima do some shit!! I can't ruin my reputation now.. I've worked to hard for it. The fact that I was friends with Mikayla when I first moved here didn't help at all! And when I finally get to the top she comes back!! UGH!! Shits about to happen!
