Who did it?

Take a good look at yourself... are you capable of murder? nobody thinks they are but if you take a good look at yourself you may be surprised by anything you're capable of.

   "Paisley I need to talk to you it's very important" Kory came up to me while I was in the hallway, "what's wrong? is everything okay?" I asked most confused "it's about Alex, I think I know who did it" she says most nervous, my eyes opened who murdered Alex? Did she really know.

  "Who did it?" I stop, "not here come with me" Kory pulls my arm towards an empty classroom and closes the door "I think Kelly did it" she says softly, my heart stops "Kelly..." that's not very surprising Kelly is messed up "yes Paisley I know it's hard for you to believe but..." , "save your breath, I get it," I say before I walk out, Kelly may have problems but she would never kill someone would she?.

   As I walk through the corridors I see Tessa and I decide to turn back but she walks towards me "Paisley! Wait!" She yells, I stop "Yeah?" She frowns "I'm sorry about assembly, it was rude of me to make such accusations, even though I'm Student Council Vice President I shouldn't play detective, that was truly my bad and I think I owe you an apology", "don't hold up Tessa apology not accepted" I say before passing her, "run away little Paisley, but you can't run away from the truth!" She calls back.

  Dylan sees me "she talked to you?" He asks before looking up at the ceiling, I stop "Dylan what are you looking at?", "oh, sorry it's nothing" he shrugs, "sounds like something to me" I raise my eyebrows "umm... it's about my dad" he said averting eye contact, "what about your dad?", "my dad left my mom a couple years back and moved to Australia, but uhh before he left he cursed me and told me if I don't look up more I'll grow up never being a true man" he shrugged, "I don't think that's what he meant Dylan" I grinned and he smiled too "I know, he was an optimist sometimes, but overall he was horrible, he went through drugs and alcohol and stopped looking up" Dylan frowned, "sounds horrible" I say staring at him, "yeah, but I always look up now because I want to be more of a man than him" he says finally smiling, he had the cutest smile I blushed and turned towards the door to exit the school.

   Walking to Dylan's car I saw Kylie standing by the door, she looked up at Dylan and I "you guys are on the black market you know " she laughed, Dylan rolled his eyes "what do you want Kylie?" He asked "oh Dyly boi don't get so upset" she giggled, "what is it that you want?" I ask, she turns to me still smiling "so I heard Micheal's girlfriend talked to you earlier today", I rolled my eyes "yes Kory spoke to me, get to the point", "listen Kory is just covering up for Tessa, she's the real murderer and we all know it" she argues, "why should we believe you?" Dylan grumbles "because Tessa is student council president now that Alex is out of the picture, don't you think she should be a suspect, not to mention she's hung up on framing you guys" she continues to argue "well... as much of a case you got there, it isn't our place to assume anything Kylie" I say before stepping into the passenger seat, Dylan goes in the driver's seat, Kylie rolled her eyes and walked away.

When driving back I decided to ask Dylan "isn't it a little scary that someone capable of murder is walking amongst us?", he frowns glancing at me "what if I did it?" He asks, "aren't you uncomfortable?" my eyes shot open "why would you?" I reached for the door, "calm down Paisley, I didn't do it but whatever you choose to believe go ahead" he frowns but looks back at the road. "I'm sorry Dylan it's just why would anyone kill Alex? He was so nice" at that he stops the car, "stop making assumptions Paisley" he says glaring at me, my heart froze "Dylan I..." I couldn't continue "Paisley, I really like you... but I can't keep lying to you" he says sounding very broken "Paisley, Alex used to beat me up and he did the same to Kory, he cheated on her so much, and I was worried about Kelly, I heard that you confessed you undying love to Alex and all but..." I stopped him "Hey, I did like Alex, but to be honest, you were so much more realistic than him and I'm sorry I couldn't tell you that sooner , I like you Dylan and I'm sorry about Alex" I smiled, he looked shocked.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me" he blushed ...is he really blushing how cute I laughed "Dylan, do you think everything is going to be okay?" I say leaning back in the car seat, he smiles "it'll never be the same but don't worry it'll get better" he says. There was a knock on the door and we both looked to see who it was, it was Kelly "guys you should drive up in our driveway" she says, Dylan drove up and we both got out, "Kelly are you okay?" I asked "guys I think I should tell you about that night" she frowned.
