Chapter 12: The Truth

Hey Guys!!! I have warnings here for this chapter before you begin.

1)It's long, longer than I've written in a while. [10 pages of just the story] So be ready to read like a lot. [Sort of an apology for last chapter which was just sad with how short it was.]

2)Although I don't really write anything that references to sexual stuff, my friend who usually proofreads it, thought it would be a little funny(and "useful" as she says because she's a weirdo ￣へ￣) in the long run. Thus you'll read some of it at the beginning, giving you an idea of what's coming and the rest will be somewhere in the middle of the chapter. It's nothing too too serious just referencing, some explanations, and maybe a sprinkle of forwardness. You'll get why literally in the first paragraph.

3)You find out how old MC is finally!!!

So yeah that's really it. Probably a lot of grammar mistakes because my friend was being lazy, but you may proceed.

I, of course, had "graduated" with flying colors. Iruka just had me stand there for a quick chat, handing me my original forehead protector, before sending me off to get the next person. But while I was in the room, I got this off feeling from Mizuki. I hadn't known him for long, but he wasn't one of the few who knew I was a vampire. From what I knew, Mizuki believed that I was a prodigy girl(yes he knew I was female), who became a jonin and an anbu a few years back and now I was on a mission from the Hokage to protect Naruto. And still, the way he watched me had a lustful feel to it and it was creeping me out which is hard to do.

Shuddering, I closed my eyes pushing away those unwanted thoughts. Taking a deep breath, I scanned the village below me. Right now I was standing on the Hokage faces tracking a certain someone who had stolen the sacred scroll from the Hokage's building.

'Stupid Naruto! Where could you be?'

I was supposed to be protecting him and I had failed at keeping track of him. The old man had already given me a look for it went he sent me out to look for him, which I completely ignored. It was only one time not a habit.

Taking another long breath, I was hoping to catch his scent on the wind. Sniffing one last, I whipped my head towards the forest. Narrowing my eyes, I frowned. There was a mixture of Naruto's smell with...

"Mizuki,"I growled, the name feeling like poison in my mouth.

Jumping off the statues, I let myself fall head first, flipping mid fall to stop lightly on the wires connecting the houses to electricity. As soon as my foot touched down, I sped off along the wires. Once I was at the end of the line of houses, I hopped off the end of the wire and into the forest. Sprinting, I heard Naruto's laugh which was a comfort to the nerves that had built up. Listening closer, I heard Iruka's voice. That was also a comfort, but it was soon destroyed when I smelled blood.

'Kunai.'

Running faster, I was able to make out the conversation as I got closer.

"So that's how it is Mizuki,"I heard Iruka question.

"Naruto give me the scroll now,"Mizuki said ignoring Iruka's statement.

"Wait what's going on?"

"Naruto, don't let Mizuki get the scroll,"Iruka yelled before I smelled more blood. "The scroll contains forbidden jutsu that could put this village in grave danger."

'Iruka must have pulled a kunai. Grr at this rate he could bleed out. Damn, I'm almost there.'

"Mizuki used you to get the scroll for himself,"Iruka continued, taking breaths in between.
