*Next day after selling*

I had just finished my papers i had gone faster than normal cause i was gonna go see if Maddie wanted to hang again.
"Aye where ya goin so fast?" I heard Spot say as I walked away "Ima head to Hatten and see if Maddie wants to hang." he looked down for a second then looked back up "who's Maddie?" "Jackie's new girl" i said "oh....Alright well you have fun i'll see you later." Okay,bye love ya." "love ya too.." he said and then i ran off.

"GUESS WHOS BACK." I yelled coming through the door. "Geez do ya gotta be so loud?" Mr.Kloppman asked. "Oh sorry bout that." i said shyly i hated causing him trouble i felt bad he had to deal with the boys even tho he loved us i'm pretty sure we got on his nerves every once and a while. "It's alright Maddie is upstairs by the way." "Okay thank you Mr.Kloppman!" i said and darted up the stairs.  I burst through the door "Ready to cause trouble?" i asked as she looked up "Do newsies sell papes?"  she replied. "I'll take that as a yes." i said with a sly side smirk the one Spot and I used our natural signature right before we caused trouble. "you know that smirk you do reminds me of someone i can't remember who." she said "Spot?" "you know him?" I asked.She looked shocked like something clicked but quickly tried to hide it,but living as a newsie with your own masks helps you see through other ones people put on.Like that lady wasn't really as happy as she seemed.That kid wasn't okay. That mother was more tired than she said she was. I gave her a confused questionable look raising one eyebrow "I used to run around Brooklyn maybe i seen him there" she said quickly.I couldn't say she was lying cause if you ran around in Brooklyn it was no doubt you might've run into Spot Conlon once or twice or just seen him. "yea maybe." i said and turned around to head out.

After taking some food and sharing with some of the street dogs Maddie and I separated paths and went back. Her to Jack me to Spot. I walked in and plopped on the bed next to Spot almost landing on him. "Well hello to you too." he said looking over. "Hi." i said getting up to change. Spot dusted off the dirt on his bed i had brought from being outside.For being so dirty it was the only thing he kept clean or the only thing he was passionate about keeping clean. I smiled at him he was so OCD about it,it was cute. I went and took a shower and changed them later on the bed,again flopping on. "Fall any harder and the whole bed will break in half." Spot said chuckling while i giggled. "Long day?" "yea.." i said it was more than that.It felt like Him and Maddie knew something i didn't.More like did they know each other? Either or I didn't have energy to stay up and think about it. My thoughts along with Spots hand rubbing my back soon put me to sleep and with that i was out like a light .

I KNOWWWW I HAVENT UPDATED IN A PHAT MINUTE DONT YELL AT ME I HAD NO IDEAS IM ALSO WORKING ON ANOTHER STORY.Plus i had to offload the app for a little cause i wasn't using it and it was taking up space i'll try to update this and my outsiders Spot Conlon story tomorrow but no promised i'm sorry love y'all 🤣❤️ Also i can't believe we're #3 in Conlon 😳💞 AND 1K READS WHATTTTT DUEJRBJEKWIWJW AHHHH❤️💜💚💙💝💞💗💖
