Ignis or also know as Isabel or Izzy Is/Izz for short only the closest people knew her real name.First met Jack Kelly and Racetrack Higgins when they found her at the age of 9 in an alley way lying out in the cold,quiet night of New York they took her in and all of the boys excepted her they all knew her name but needed to give her a new one a nickname just like the rest of the boys.Over time they noticed a burning flame in her eyes,if she wanted something she was determined to get it and she always did;if she loved someone/something and you messed with them/or a fire grew in her eyes one that couldn't be tamed,stopped,or put out.That fire would never go out unless she wanted it to.One time older wealthier boys had been messing with Boots pushing him around roughing him up until that is Ignis had spotted them.She felt this rage for them hurting someone who was so kind,someone who had excepted her since day one.She charged at the biggest one who looked in charge knocking him over with a thump and as soon as she had him on the ground she was on top of him punching and screaming at him for what he had done to her friend.It took the other four boys there to pull her off pulling their "leader" up with his black eyes,bloody nose,and just bloody face over all.Looking at her with fear they all ran.She smiled at her work then went to help Boots up.After that they Mr.Kloppman knew exactly what to name her after know a bit of Latin he chose Ignis for the fire that burned in her eyes.She loved the name and after that it stuck with her.
