This malevolent beast is evil incarnate. It's said that it was born from the tainted blood of Dark Daemon Viper when the blood fell upon the desert sands which is now known today as The Great Victoria Desert. It goes by the name of 'The Corupter', whispers say though its corruption turned common bats into the Garkains we all know today.
It has the ability to change its body mass at will going from a regular dog size to the same size as the Adonartina. It has been known to destroy and wreak havoc where ever it goes. This beast hasn't been seen in the past 2 centuries.
Legend says 10 powerful medicine men, sacrificed themselves to bind and imprison the Marindi in 10 sacred stones tearing it apart. And scattering the stones across Australia far away from each other. It is believed that one of the stones sits somewhere on the back of the Adonartina.
Before this beast was imprisoned. Both it and the Adonartina would have titanic sized battles over and over again to see who would claim the desert lands for themselves. Nearly every single time the mightly lizard would win the brawl. But there have been times were the deamon dingo has won sending the balance of nature into chaos.
There are now rumours that a dark witch and her merry band of dark wizards are looking for these stones to bring back this unstoppable dark force. But let us hope none of them are found.
