[name] sighed as she looked at Nezuko who was asleep in the bed she provided for her, far away from the sunlight. She lightly brushed the hair out of the demon girl and smiled. Remembering how she used to take care of the younger ones back in her clan.
How she missed them.
She then pulled the cover over Nezuko and planted a kiss on her forehead. A gesture she always does with the younger ones back in her clan, and soon she left the room to allow Nezuko to rest up.
She walked through the hallways of the Shadow Estate, which was rather dark, but one could still see the hallway due to the little sunlight shining through the paper-covered sliding doors. She soon heard running footsteps within the estate and she wondered who it was.
Her eyes then soon noticed the form of Kamado Tanjiro who was running towards her with a smile, waving his hand at her. [name] was taken aback at his friendly gesture, for this was the first time they met face to face.
"Akane-san, right? Yes, it's you! The Shadow Pillar!" and [name] was somehow a little overwhelmed by how Tanjiro was acting around her. She wasn't the kind who wanted people to respect her, she just wanted people to do their job and she is fine with it.
"Yes, I see you're recovering pretty well, Tanjiro," [name] commented with a smile, and Tanjiro's eyes widened when he smelt something from [name].
"Are you lonely?" he asked and [name]'s eyes widened.
"I see, you have a strong sense of smell like Urokodaki-san," [name] commented and proceeded to walk past the young boy, trying her best to not get flustered from being found out.
"Nezuko is still asleep, in the room at the very end. Remember to ensure she is well kept away from the sunlight," she called out and eventually disappeared into the darker parts of the Shadow Estate.
Tanjiro then looked into the darkness and he couldn't help but wonder why [name] was feeling so lonely. Why was she giving off that scent for someone who was so kind? He sighed and then entered the room where Nezuko was resting, and his eyes widened at how well tucked in Nezuko was.
"She's such a kind person,"

[name] dislikes the sun, but that doesn't mean she isn't able to stand under them. Dressed in a plain black yukata with her hair down, she sat on the patio beside Kanao as she watched Tanjiro train his full concentration breathing together with his other two friends, Zenitsu and Inosuke.
Kanao then handed [name] a cup of tea which she gladly accepted.
"Kanao, aren't you going to join them?" [name] asked and smiled when Kanao didn't answer as she fiddled with the coin in her hand instead. [name] then spotted Shinobu walking around, and she soon came up to her and sat down beside her.
"It's really rare to see you out in the sun like this, Akane-san," and [name] laughed softly and soon she saw Mitsuri running towards them with Obanai following behind her.
"Kya, I finally get to see you Akane-san!" Mitsuri cried out as she held [name]'s delicate hands in her strong ones. [name] smiled at the enthusiasm that Mitsuri was showing, and she peeked behind her, smiling slightly at Obanai.
"That's a cute snake you got there," [name] commented. She remembered Iguro Obanai from her training days under the previous Flame Pillar. Kyojuro's father had saved Obanai back then.
"And I am glad to see all of you are doing well," [name] spoke and Mitsuri soon understood what kind of person [name] was. She then squealed in delight and soon took off running with Obanai following her closely.
