"[name], run for your life. Live a normal life, forget about us," her mother whispered as she ushered [name] away from the danger lurking about their territory. [name] was part of a shinobi clan, and was trained to become the successor.
"Poor child...
[name] wandered through the school once more, finding a particular Sound Pillar she has yet to see. She was informed by Tanjiro that Tengen often hanged out alone in the art room, painting by himself. He even showed [name] some of the photos he took of Tengen on his phone, and she couldn't help but smile as his work was flamboyant.
[name] soon found the art room, and there she saw Tengen, laying on the tables put together as he stared up at the ceiling. Hearing a light snore coming from him, [name] silently opened the door and slipped in. Tengen grunted and shifted, but didn't wake up. [name] then carefully walked around the art room, and found the easel that Tengen had been using, with a canvas sitting on it.
Her eyes widened at the beautiful artwork, that he had painted. She recognized herself in the painting, looking up to the night sky staring at the full moon. The details were so precise, even till the glow in her eyes.
[name] smiled and soon she found an empty canvas and some paints. Trying to be as quiet as possible, to not wake Tengen up, she quickly painted the thing that came to her mind.
.
.
As soon as [name] was done, she gently moved the canvas to place it beside his painting, and silently stuck a note on his. She then quietly left the art room, right before he woke up.
Tengen yawned and stretched. He then sat upon the tables and looked at the time, realizing school has already ended an hour ago. He hopped off from the tables so that he could head over to the convenience store to get the alcohol for the hotpot at Sanemi's apartment, only to stop as he walked past his painting.
His eyes widened when he saw a painting of himself, dressed in a yukata.

He lightly touched the edge and noticed it was still wet, indicating that it had just been painted. His eyes traveled to the note that was stuck onto the edge of his painting of [name], and he lightly detached it. His eyes widened as he read the note.
"I love you too, Tengen. See you in the next life," and immediately did he bolt right out of the art room. He ran at a fast speed, running past students who were going home, and even right past Oyakata-sama who had on nothing but a small smile as he knew where Tengen was going. He jumped down the stairs, and eventually out of the school building.
Panting slightly, his Fuchsia colored eyes laid upon the back view of a brunette clad in a black halter dress, ending just slightly above the back of her knees. Not caring if it was going to be a mistake, he started running towards the figure, afraid it might disappear before him.
"[NAME]!" he yelled, and [name] smiled as she stopped in her tracks as she turned. A gentle breeze blew, and the setting sun painted a beautiful scene before Tengen. His eyes widened when he saw that very same pair of dark blue ocean eyes, and almost immediately did he wrapped her tightly in his arms.
He soon fell to his knees with his arms wrapped around her back as he buried his face against her chest. [name] then smiled at the man before her. The same build, the same height, the same face. The one she fell in love with, yet have to hold back her emotions due to her curse.
