YOU WANT TO BE WHAT?

Chapter 1.

(Y/N)- I had just moved into my dorm & I had unpacked everything that I brought. My roommate (Liz) is such the sweetest person ever. The moment we met we talked for about an hour & exchanged phone numbers. I'm glad I got paired with someone who isn't quiet or shy, although its how I always been, even though I am 22, but maybe she will bring a better side of me out the closer we get. I cant believe I am in my dream university, this hasn't settled in yet. What do I do now though? My first class isn't for another 4 days. Liz went out with her boyfriend & I am stuck in my dorm, maybe I should go out and be social.

*While thinking of what to do, Liz texts me*
Liz: [Hey girl! Come to the bar on 5th street & meet my friends. You will love them.]
Y/N: [Is that a good idea? I wouldn't want to intrude.]
Liz: [Shut up! Come! Half these people are probably in your classes, make friends!!]
Y/N: [Alright. Coming.]

She really wants me there, guess I now have plans for the rest of the evening.

*30 Minutes Later*
I decided to walk to the bar & when I enter, its already chaotic. It's 7pm. I see Liz & her friends, I walk over & sit beside her. She introduces me to her friends who are also attending our university & she explains my major for me to them. I look around the bar & see people of all ages here, some even look around 16 years old. I lean over to talk to Liz over the loud music & separate conversations.

Y/N: "So where is your boyfriend? Didn't you come together?"
Liz: "We had a small argument & he left back to the dorms."
<She explains while she takes another shot with her friends.>

I walk over to the bar & order a beer because shots aren't really my thing. I get my beer & walk back to the table. I can see that Liz is starting to get more drunk because she starts to slur her words trying to explain a game to everyone. I finished my beer & decided that I didn't want to stay at the bar. I lean over & let Liz know I am going back to the dorm room. She smiles & nods at me, I tell her friends to please watch her. I also let Liz know to call me if she needs help getting back to our room. I side hug her quickly & walk out. I start heading back to the dorms & I get a text from my brother while walking.

Brother: [Hey sis! How is it so far? Roommate nice? How many do you have? Are they hot?]
Y/N: [First of all, I've been here for 4 hours so calm down! Also, I have 1 roommate & I am sorry but she's taken.]

Right after I send the text I bump into someone & drop my phone.

" My phone! " I kinda yell as it hits the floor.

" Oh my god, I'm sorry! " I heard a guy say after I yell.

I instantly go to grab my phone from the floor but the guy I bumped into grabs it for me. I can barely see his face due to it being pretty late & dark outside, the street lights near the university weren't as bright, I noticed that he was really tall. I grab my phone when he reaches to give it to me & check for damages, luckily nothing.

" I didn't see you, I am sorry. " the guy says at his best ability. He didn't seem like he knew English that well.
" Don't worry about it, its kind of my fault to be walking in the dark on my phone. " I say trying to make him feel a little better. There was a small silence.
" Uhm, well my name is Kim Hosung but my friends like to call me Lou. " He says while reaching his hand out for me to shake. I shake his hand.
" Hi Kim Hosung, I am Y/N. " I say & let go of his hand.
" You seem to not know English that well " I say to him as politely as possible.
" I'm from Korea so I'm more fluent in Korean. " he says while kind of laughing.
" Wow! So you came to study abroad? " I ask him really interested.
" Yes! I was glad to come to America. " He says sounding excited about it, he then adds, " I actually start my first class in 4 days in the C hall." He says pointing at the only white building across the street. I couldn't really see his face in the dark street but could tell he was happy about being here. I didn't want to be outside in the dark any longer though so I explain that I had to get back to my dorm because I was waiting for my roommate to return. He lets me leave but before doing so we said our goodbyes. "Get back safely" he says as he walks in the direction I came from.
I walk back to my dorm in hopes to not run into anyone again. I get inside & make my way to my room. After returning I lay down & check my phone again to make sure it wasn't cracked. I see a missed call from Liz also a text message & 2 unread messages from my brother.

Liz: [My boyfriend came back so I will probably stay at his place. Be back in the morning!]
I feel more relieved that she's with someone & text her back.
Y/N: [Good. See u tomorrow. Drink water!]
I also text my brother back & plug my phone in. Set an alarm for 9am & clicked my phone off. I wash up & get back to bed. Why am I thinking about the guy I bumped into? Will I ever meet him again? I never saw his face but I know his name..... Kim Hosung. ~
