Roman: You will never defeat me! I am all powerful!

Logan: Roman calm down, the game hasn't even started yet.
He sighed as he adjusted his vest.

Logan: I don't even see the point on why we're here.

The sides were gathered in a large arcade that Roman had built in the Imagination. It had pretty much everything you could think of, there was even a rock wall area that took up half the room they were currently in. The other half was filled with a massive laser tag course. There were two levels!

Patton: Its because we need to get out more as a family!

Remus: I think this game would be a lot more interesting if we used REAL guns!
In true Remus fashion, he summons an actual gun.

Patton: NO! Put that back right now mister!
The fatherly trait scolded as Virgil just laughed quietly.

Remus: Ugh, you're no fun!
He waves a hand dismissively and the gun disappears.

Remus: How about this then, for the teams we do dark sides vs light sides?

Logan: I thought we were dropping the whole 'light' and 'dark' sides thing?

Remus: Oh come on Nerdy Wolverine! It's just a suggestion.

Virgil: I think it's a great idea!
Everyone turned collectively to look at the anxious side.

Deceit: Really?

Virgil: Sure! Three on three, you, me, and Remus vs Logan, Pat, and Ro.

Thomas: You guys about ready down there? The game is about to start.
Thomas was on an upper level where the controls were for the laser tag room. It was a rare occasion for the host to be with them outside of the real world but Patton insisted.

Everyone went inside going off in their separate teams and Thomas spoke over the speakers.

Thomas: The game starts in, 3...2...1 GO!
The blacklight lit room filled with suspenseful/action music and the game was on. Patton and Remus were firing at anything and everything, Logan was taking in the room to form a game plan, and Roman was just looking for purple, green, or yellow lights to shoot at.

Virgil however slipped away from Deceit and Remus and snuck up on Roman by tapping on his shoulder. Roman turned around quickly, gun in hand, to see Virgil with both hands up in surrender and his gun at his side.

Roman: What are you doing?
He refused to move his aim away from Virgil, knowing despite his gun being out of reach now Virgil was fast and could grab it at the blink of an eye.

Virgil: Getting back at Remus for stealing my cereal this morning and Deceit for letting his snakes in my room.

Roman: So that's why you were on board with the teams thing. Remind me to not get on your bad side.

Virgil: Noted.
Logan cautiously rounded the corner in search of Roman or Patton. He found Patton first and convinced him to stop firing blindly and led them both to find Virgil and Roman talking.

Logan: I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you are betraying the others.

Virgil: That would be correct Lo, now that you're all here, I have a plan.

Deceit had gotten Remus to stop firing his gun and they were both currently hiding behind a wall.

Deceit: Where the hell is Virgil?

Remus: Maybe he found the others?

Virgil: I did actually.
They jump at Virgil's sudden appearance beside them.

Remus: Where were you?

Virgil: Unlike you guys, I was scoping out the arena for the others. I found them and had no idea I was even there.

Deceit: That means we have the element of surprise!

Virgil: Right. Let's go.
He gestures with his gun and they all covertly make their way to the other side of the room.

Virgil: They're down there, there's another wall down their that hides you perfectly for an ambush. Go right.

The trio walk silently in a line Virgil bringing up the rear.

Deceit: Alright. On three ready?

Virgil: One.

Remus: Two.

Deceit: Three!
Deceit and Remus run around the corner only to be met with a corner.

Remus: Virgil wha-
They turn around to find Virgil pointing his gun towards them and Logan, Roman, and Patton coming out of seemingly nowhere and standing behind him.

Virgil: I am not sorry in the slightest.

Then hell broke loose.

Deceit and Remus had no where to run to so they had no choice but to fire repeatedly in hopes they'll get a hit. They didn't of course, as it was now a prepared four against a dumbfounded two.

After a few minutes of merciless shooting Thomas's voice came over the speakers again, the music turning down.

Thomas: And in a landslide victory, the trophy goes to the Virgil and the Light Sides!

Patton: Wait there's a trophy!?! Awesome!

Deceit: You betrayed us Virgil!

Remus: We trusted you!

Virgil: Again I say, I'm not sorry. Maybe now you'll think before you steal my food or let things go where they're not allowed.
