Chapter 17 - The Hallway

It was a normal Monday morning as Jaiden, Rebecca, Maaz, James, and Adam walked in the halls. Jaiden still shot looks at Adam but James already told him that she's just worried at James. He could understand why, he worry about James too. Adam was worry about if James wants to be with him even though he was a stupid demon who is known for evil.

Adam had the first class by himself again. As he was starting to head upstairs James grabbed his hand. "We're going together now." he told him. He smiled and took his hand was we walked upstairs. Adam felt good knowing James was going up with him but it didn't mean they were safe.He felt a shiver down his spine that he couldn't ignore. Suddenly, Adam was grabbed by my tail and yanked.

"Adam! " James yelled running over to Roger who was holding Adam. "Let him go!"

"And what if I don't?" Roger said.

James didn't have much time to think and just punched Roger in the crotch. He dropped Adam and James cought him in his arms and ran down the hall with Adam.

"Woah, didn't know you would throw a punch down there." Adam commented.

"I panicked plus, I'd rather touch yours." James said. Suddenly his face turned bright red. "N-not that I-" "You don't have to explain yourself Jameson." Adam said as he got out of his arms and smiled. "I wouldn't mind of you did."

TJ and Wil came around the corner. "Adam! Stupid bitch get out here!" TJ yelled.

The two looked at each other and raced to the end of the hall but it was no use. They ran into a dead end, they were stuck. James held Adam's hand tight. Adam wrapped his tail around James' ankle as it shivered behind him. The three bullies came around the corner and walked up to Adam.

"Looks like you blabbed to your boyfriend Adam. It's a shame, you were good. Too bad you fucked up." TJ said. He grabbed Adam by his red sweater sweather collar and slammed him against the lockers. ",You don't know what the hell your doing little man. No one can save you and do you know why?"

Wil picked up James by his navy blue sweather and hung him by his hood. "A-Adam." he mumbled tears forming in his eyes. "Shut up!" Roger yelled and punched James in the face. "Stupid bitch."

Adam shared the same worried, scared expression as James. "No one can save you because your weak, and we're strong. Because your little and we're big. Because we're something, and your nothing. You'll always be nothing.  Your never gonna be anything Adam, because your a stupid little cunt."

"Stop!" James yelled.

"Shut up!" Roger yelled punching James again. Wil held his mouth shut so James couldn't say anything.

"Leave James alone! He didn't do anything! Take me." Adam said.

"You had your chance to protect him. But ya didn't! Guess your a failure too." TJ said.

Wil grabbed James by the neck and started to chock him. "JAMES!" Adam yelled. Tear pouring down his face as he watched his boyfriend frantically squirm.

"JAMES! JAMES I'M SORRY!" Adam yelled through his sobs. "LET HIM GO PLEASE! DON'T KILL HIM FOR WHAT I DID!" Adam cried.

A minute passed as Wil let James go and fall on the floor. Roger bent down and grabbed his arm to watch it fall down lifelessly. "He's down."

Adam stared horrified at James. Words couldn't describe how terrified he was. TJ let him go as he felt on the floor. "Come on guys, let's bounce." he said as he and his friends walked off.

Adam ran over to James and held him in his arms. He sobbed over James. "I'm so sorry James. This is all my fault. I'm sorry I failed you." He sobbed as loud as he could.

"What are you doing here?" a teacher asked. Adam explained what happened.  "TJ? Timothy Thomas Jr? Hold up I'll get him as soon as possible." the teacher said. "For now go to the Nurse's Office."

Adam ran as fast as he could to the nurse and told her about James. "He's not dead, he just passed out. He's breathing." Adam sighed in relief as he went outside to wait for the nurse. James' parents were called in and so we're Adam's. He also saw some weird parents who he assumed were Wil, Roger, and TJ's. The principal had a talk with all parents. Adam explained the bullying to them. Each of them were horrified. The bullies were kicked out of the school and James and Adam were aloud out of school.

Adam walked back into the Nurse's Office to check on James. To he surprised, he as awake.

"ADAM!" James yelled.

"JAMESON!" Adam yelled running over to him and giving him a huge hug. James hugged back and looked at him. "I thought I lost you." he said holding back tears in his eyes. James gave Adam a kiss and looked back at him.

A week later James and Faith got the news that they were changing schools. It would be a preparatory school. Adam would also be changing schools as he would be going to another public school with better discipline. Rebecca, Jaiden, and Maaz's parents also heard about the bullies and how each of them had problems with them. Jaiden would be going to the preparatory school with James and Faith as Rebecca and Maaz would be in the public school with Adam.

The group didn't let this stop them. They all still talked to each other every day after school. Adam still came over to James' house as normal. Nothing was too different for them.
