Chapter 8 - I'm Something Else

James'POV

After school, Adam and I went to grab some frozen yogurt. We were alone together so it was time we got some time to spend with each other. I wanna get to know Adam and for him to trust me. Adam got chocolate and I got vanilla. "I got it Jameson." he said paying the employee.

We walked over to topping and I looked at everything they had. Adam put his head under the Oreo bits toppings and held the button. I laughed at him as he filled his mouth and ate his bites. Adam went for Oreo bites and chocolate sprinkles and I went for rainbow sprinkles and M&M's.

"So, Adam. Your gay?" I asked him. He looked up from his fro yo and looked at me. He looked down in shame and embarrassment. "I'm actually bisexual." he mumbled.

"Well, I'm gay." I told him. He looked up in shock. "Really?" I nodded and licked my fro yo.

When we finished we saw an arcade near by and we went in to play some video games. Adam walked up to an old Pac-Man game and played that.
"Hey your really good at these." I told him.

"Well Pac-Man isn't that hard. Your should give it a try." I shrugged and gave it a spin. It was harder than Adam made it look. I got attacked by the ghosts pretty often. "James you have to do it like this. I'll show you." Adam put his hands on mine and grilled them. I felt my face heat up a bit. Adam was super nice guy, he looked pretty cute too.

"Thanks for your help Adam!" I told him as I reached for our tickets. We earned a bunch and we walked by the prize area. They has lots of toys and stuff but the one I looked at was the little Bowser for 1000 tickets. Adam looked at me and we ran off. "Where are you doing Adam?" "I'm going to win you that Bowser!"

Adam played a bunch of video games and was super busy racking up points. While he was doing that I was walking over to a clothing store nearby. I wanted to get Adam something too. I found a big red sweather that said 'Common Sense' on it. It was too perfect. I bought it and walked back to the arcade. The cool summer air hit me as I walked outside. Turns out Adam was outside too.

"Hey Adam! Had fun?"

"Yeah, and I got you this! I know you like Bowser now so I got you a plush. " I held the plush and gave it a little hug and blushed. "I got you something too." I have him his bag and he opened it up. It was like a kid on Chirstmas. Adam put on the sweather and smiled. I knew he loved it.

Adam walked me home and we just talked on the way home. "Dude you should join the art class after school. You would love it!"

"I don't know. If the others found out I was doing that than they wouldn't be happy."

I put my hand on Adam's shoulder. "Adam! They don't control you. Your more than them. You can do whatever you want. You can be something else now." I saw him smile as we got to my house.

"Thanks Jameson but you should go home now." he told me.

"Oh ok. Bye Adam!" I said waving at him. Man I loved Adam. Wait....loved?

Adam's POV

I was at school wearing my sweather as TJ, Roger and Wil came over. I didn't even have to turn around, I could practically sense them at this point. There terrible oder filed my nose and I hated it.

"Hey Adam. Word on the street is that you were handing out with nerds."

"There not nerds there my friends. My real friends who are better than you guys."

TJ snapped and grabbed me by my hood. "Don't get fresh with me Adam! I can beat you up real quick! I made you important and look at you now, you have nothing, you are nothing." he shoved me back into the locker and it hurt that time. It was so bad my face got hurt. I felt like crying but I didn't. I rubbed my stinging eyes and stood there.

"Your wrong. Not only am I something, I'm Something Else." I said. I kicked down the locker door and the three looked at me. I ran around them and stole there belts. When the bell rang there pants fell down. People started laughing as I ran off with there belts.

In the corner I saw James looking at me in shock. "Hey Jameson, sup." He just started at me. "You look hot." he mumbled. We both blushed.

"Sorry." he said. "But you need to look at yourself." He grabbed my hand and raced through the hall into the bathroom. I saw that I grew two demon horns and a tail. I admired my new look and wondered how it got there. "I'm just as confused as you, but it doesn't matter. We can spend as much time with each other as we want. They won't be bugging me for a while."

We both walked out with smiles on our faces. I didn't notice at first but I was holding James' hand. He didn't seem to mind so I let him. The rest of my friends were pretty confused too and we explained what happened with the stupid bullies. I'm so happy James is in my life. What would I do without him?
