Chapter 25 - Moving In

Adam's POV

"I don't know about this. It's a huge step for me. I don't know if we're ready." I said hesitantly. I was talking to Jaiden on the phone. We were talking about me moving in with James. It's a huge step for any relationship.

"I think you two would like it. You and James could sleep with each other, wake up with each other, animate, you already stay there most of the time so might as well."

"Yeah, but Chunkers and Thurnis might be scared of Floof. The dogs are important too and I never asked James about it."

"Well it's about time you do. Work something out."

"Maybe, alright I guess."

An hour later, I called James. "Mmm, talk to me." A shiver went down my spine as I looked for the words. "Hey James, I really need to ask you something."

"Sure thing. What is it?"

"I was thinking, you know because we're in a relationship and I'm always at your place now, that maybe we could live together?" Silence filled the call as I waited for James to respond.

"Well...I think that's a great idea! The spear room is your's for animations and stuff so yeah. I think it's cool. Well, plan it in the following months."

For the past few months, the move has been the thing we talked about the most. We were both really excited to live with each other. I started packing up a month ago. I sold my furniture that I wouldn't need anymore and packed up the stuff I need. Before I knew it, moving day was here.

"I hate moving." I told James as I put my stuff in the trunk.

"I mean yeah, but it's not that bad. You'll be with me now and I'll take good care of you."

"I know you will. Can't believe we're taking the next step. This is huge."

"Yeah but we're doing it together." James said as he held my hand.

"You know your positivity is one of my favorite things about you." I said kissing his cheek. James smiled and we got into a car. Still, I was nervous about the move. Both my pups were there and getting used to the place and we planned everything out slowly but it was all happening so fast. I only remet James a few months ago.

When we finally reached the house James helped me move my stuff into the room. I looked around checking to make sure everything got where it was supposed to get to and luckily I was set so we started unpacking.

"Hey Adam, you alright? You seem a little quiet."

"Sorry, I'm just thinking."

"Whatcha thinking about?" James said moving a little closer to me.

"It's just that this is all so much. I'm excited to be here with you and all I'm just getting used to things." I told him.

"It's alright Adam. Take your time, moving is a huge change but I'll make sure it's easy and fun for you. We don't have to get all your stuff right now. Let's just relax. It's getting late anyway."

We called it a night as we got ready for bed. "Hey James, can I sleep with you tonight?" James moved over signaling me to come over. I got in bed and laid my head on his chest. "Goodnight Jameson." I told him as I cuddled in. "Night, love." James said.

"Wait did you just call m-" James pulled me into a kiss and tried to fall asleep I sighed and smiled as I tried to do the same.

The next day, I woke up with the sun shining on my face. I quickly realized that I wasn't at my house. My memory slipped in and I realized why. I sighed and sat in bed feeling a little homesick. I wanted to move in and I'm glad I did, I just wish I didn't feel this way.

Suddenly, James walked in the room. "Morning love!" he said. Ignoring the new nickname I noticed that he was holding a tray of food for breakfast. My mouth started to water as I looked at it. "I thought you would be feeling blue so I made you breakfast. If you want we can take a day off. We can cuddle, watch a movie, do whatever you want."

"Thanks Jameson. I would actually like that a lot." I said as we both started to eat up.
