Chapter 26 - Coming Out Pt - One

James'POV

There's a huge difference between telling the whole world your gay and telling your parents your gay. I didn't do either. It's the one part about myself I don't like talking about, not even to people I'm close with. I was in bed contemplating the whole thing.

"Should I tell them about Adam? How would they react? Would they flip out? Would they hate me? Probably would. What if they don't want me to be their brother, their son!"

Thoughts swarmed my brain as Adam walked into my room. He looked tired as he sat next to me. "What's up Jameson?" Adam asked as he yawned.

"Just worried about my parents. I'm supposed to meet them tomorrow and I never told them that I was...ya know."

"I thought they knew already. I mean I was always at your house when we were younger. Didn't you tell them anything?"

"Of course not! But now I'm finally going to have to tell them. I'm so dumb. I should of done it earlier."

Adam leaned on my shoulder. "If there's anything you thought me James, it's that being myself is important. You should take your own advice." I smiled and looked at hm. "Thanks Adam. "

"No prob. Now let's go to bed because I am pooped and I need sleep."

As I was in my car I looked over at my parents house with fear. "Maybe they didn't see me yet. Maybe I can go home and pretend I was never here. No! No more hiding. I have to do this." I woke Adam up from his cat nap as we stepped outside.

"How do I look?" I asked. As Adam was about to open his mouth I interrupted him. "And no flirty answer, I'm serious."

"Aww, your no fun." Adam wined. "But, you amazing and I know we can do it James." he told me. I kissed Adam's cheek and walked to the front door.

As soon as I knocked I was given a huge hug. "Hey, mom." I said hugging her back.

"Hello, James. Glad to see you could make time to visit. Oh, who's your friend here."

"Oh, this is Adam from highschool. We met ovee the internet." I said reintroducing Adam to her. "Oh I remember, your little friend that you used to go on playdates with. Glad you two got to meet again. It's very nice to see you two together after so long."

After catching up with my parents we went up to my old room. "Dang, this place is so cool. This is where I stayed before my YouTube career kicked off."

"Better be careful than, were stepping into a museum." Adam joked. I chuckled at his joke as I looked around admiring my old place. Suddenly a quick knock was at my door. It was Luke, Faith, Arianna, and Kate.

"James!" Faith yelled running over to me and hugging me to death. "Nice to see you too." I said as I tried to breath. We exchanged hugs and I introduced them to Adam.

"So this was the weird kid you were always hanging out with. Man how much you cried when he moved away. It was like he was your only friend." Luke said.

"What can I say, I'm very hard not to miss." Adam said. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Have you heard from Jaiden too?" Faith asked.

"Yeah, she's doing great. She would of came with me but she was busy working. We could call her later if you want." Faith agreed with me as we started chatting.
