White light blinded my sight,
As I stood up,
The radiance was so bright.I took a step closer,
I saw a man,
He was young, at his fittest,
He was the perfect figure. He wore a smile,
It reached his eyes,
My heart flushed,
As I continue to stare at it for a while. He inched a step closer,
Bringing in his masculinity,
His footsteps fascinated me,
One after the other. My heart raced,
My dream's coming after me,
I was hopeful, add a little bit of grace.
He dashed towards me,
Out of excitement, I closed my eyes,
That's all I could be.His arms warmed my entire cold soul,
In my houses' hearth,
Never again will I need a burning coal.
His embrace was enough for me,
This was all I dreamed,
this is what I always see.My hearts' Icon was one swift thief,
He stole my scars, all my grief.
Yet I realized, I still lay on my bed,
This is just a dream,
A fairytale never to be said.At least as I close my eyes,
I see a glimpse of him.
A peek of his face,
Never a waste. He was my hearts' Icon,
Although he was just a dream,
A dream within.Someday I know,
I'll dazzlingly embrace and feel his warmth again on my skin. He's my hearts' Icon,
An atom of my soul,
He is always the missing piece,
That always made me whole.
