Talie's POV:
I had dropped Ricky off at the venue and promised to return when it was time. The show was going to start in 10 minutes and I hadn't even left my appartment yet. I'm standing in front of my full length mirror near the door, gazing at the lost girl lingering there in black, ripped skinny jeans and a skull kimono. My hair was perfectly tasseled and my lips a matte black. My sunglasses sat elegantly on my head as the last of the sun was still lingering outside.
My phone was going off, it had been for the past hour. I sighed and slipped on my chunky black boots before opening the door and running into my slightly annoyed looking sister.
"I have been calling you for thirty minutes! I have to be at this show or my job is on the line," she hissed before grabbing my arm and pulling me towards the elevator. "We're probably going to be late and miss seeing them!" I rolled my eyes as we reached her car. I pulled my sunglasses down to cover my eyes and cranked her stereo up as we drove. "You look nice," she mused as we approached a red light, just a couple of blocks away from the venue. "What's the occasion? You didn't even want to go to this thing."
"Yeah, well, things change," I muttered as I stared out the window.
She chuckled and lightly punched my arm. "Come on, you're my big sister. I know when something is up. Why'd you get all dolled up?"
"I used to be friends with them," I mumbled. "And I dated Ricky Olson and slept with Chris."
"HOLY SHIT! YOU WHORE!" she screamed before errupting into a fit of laughter. "Are you guys still together? I thought he was dating their merch girl, Sarah, the one that we grew up with?"
I nodded. "He was. They broke up today because of me."
"Home wrecker," she chuckled.
I rolled my eyes and released a sigh. "I don't think I can do this."
"Do what?"
"Face all of them," I hissed.
My sister laughed and once again punched my arm lightly. "I'm sorry but are you sure you're my sister? Nat, you are the strongest person I have ever met. If you want to be friends with these guys and date Ricky, you'll do it."
I looked over at her and found her grinning like a child. I let out a laugh and realized that we were pulling into the venue's back parking lot. I took a deep breath and smiled at her. "Let's do it."
***
I stood side stage with Kylie and watched the guys with such amazement. They were all so passionate about this, about playing for these kids. Ricky hadn't seen me yet and I knew from the look on his face that he was upset because every now and then there was just a hint of sadness and a frown. I told him I would be here, he should have seen me before the show.
"Hey who's that girl," Kylie yelled as she pointed to my sister, who was busy snapping photos of Vinny.
I smiled and let out a slight chuckle. "That's my sister!"
"Looks like Vinny enjoys her attention," Kylie giggled.
I looked over and noticed that he was posing for her and she was blushing like crazy. I joined Kylie in laughing and quickly looked back at Ricky. I just wanted their set to finish so I could hug him and tell him that he was right, he was the one for me.
"THANK YOU, SAN DIEGO!"
I watched Chris placed the mic back on the stand and walk off the stage in my direction. Ghost came off and hugged both Kylie and I, making us grumble because he was so sweaty. Ricky, Ryan and Vinny walked off the other side, the side with Sabrina and a few other crew memebers. Finally Balz jumped down from his little spot and gave me a cheesy smile before following Chris.
