Chris' POV:

I heard her scream my name before there was a loud crash and the call ended. My eyes widened and I instantly called 911.

"911, what's your emergency?"

"I THINK MY FRIEND WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT," I panic. "Sh-she was intoxicated and heading towards Scranton!"

"We'll have emergency services get there as soon as possible."

I hand up and I know everyone is looking at me. Devin and Kylie look like they're about to be sick. And Ricky, poor Ricky. I know he's got Sarah but the girl he thought he loved came back for me and is now possibly dead in a car crash.

"What hospital do you think they'll take her to," I freak. "I've got to be there. I can't let her be there alone. I've been such an ass!"

Devin put a hand on my shoulder. "They'll probably take her to UPMC, it's the best in Pittsburgh," he muttered.

I nodded and looked at Angelo for help. He threw me his keys and I took off in the direction of his car. I left everyone standing there. I told her she wasn't talented when I knew that was a lie. Her voice was that of an angel and I had the nerve to bring some groupie with us. I shook my head as I raced towards the hospital. I knew everyone would follow behind me in the bus but who knows how long that would take. As I pull into the hospital parking lot, I quickly lock the doors before sprinting to the closest entrance.

"Sir, can I help you," a small receptionist asks.

I nod. "I'm looking for Natalie Mason. I uh, don't know if she's here yet. She was in a car accident."

She scans the computer screen and shakes her head. "She's not in the system."

"OUT OF THE WAY, WE'VE GOT A 24 YEAR OLD FEMALE TRAUMA VICTIM!"

I looked in the direction of the ER and saw a stretcher roll in with a doctor on top giving the patient CPR. My heart stopped when I saw her loose black curls hanging off of the gurney. I ran towards them despite the receptionist telling me to stay put.

"Talie," I screamed.

"Sir, are you related?"

I looked at the middle aged man and nodded. "I'm her husband."

He sighed and directed me to the area just outside the room they had her in. I peered through the window and saw that they were shocking her. I felt tears streaming down my face. I wasn't going to get the chance to tell her how I much I love her. I won't get to make her my girl and tell her that the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew I had to have her.

"God," I muttered through my tears. "I know I'm not your most faithful kid or whatever but I have one request. Please, please God, just make sure she's okay. I want her to be alive so bad."

I looked back in the room and noticed she had a pulse but the doctors were trying to pull shards of glass out of her and stitch her up. She already had x-rays up and it showed she had a few broken bones. She was going to be in so much pain when she woke up.

A doctor emerged from the room and asked, "You're the husband, right?"

"Yes sir."

"Your wife has some critical injuries. We think she's got some bad head trauma that we've called a neuro consult for, she'll go into surgery for some of her broken ribs and we're trying to stop the bleeding but we just don't know where it's coming from right now."

I slid down the wall as my hands ran through my hair. "Th-thank you."

Natalie couldn't die. Not like this. Not now. Not before she knew how I felt.
