"Can I copy your homework?"

I turned around and asked Sakurai.

Please say yes. Please say yes.

She looked up at me through her large spectacles. Her gaze was unnerving.

Sakurai Ayase.

We've been in the same class for three years straight. And for three years, she has always sat behind me. I don't know much about her except she's in the archery club, she's top in the class, and she's really shy. She doesn't have many friends...

"Is that a no?"

She shook her head and handed me last night's homework.

"No, I was just thinking that you haven't been doing your homework lately."

"We've been preparing for our practice match against Fukurodani this weekend so I've been too tired to do my homework once I get home." I grabbed the paper from her. "Thanks Sakurai-san! You're a lifesaver!."

I started jotting down the answers as fast as I could.

Lucky! I should buy her a drink next time!

Dinggg dong ding donggg. Dingg dong ding donggg.

The school bell snapped me out of my nap.

Crap, I'm going to be late to practice!

I quickly shoved my things into my bag and ran to the club room.

"Oi, Kenma! Let's practice our first tempo attack!" I called out to Kenma.

If we can perfect this, maybe we can defeat Fukurodani!

I kept hitting spike after spike but it didn't feel quite right. I kept adjusting the speed and power of my jumps to match with his tosses.

"One more!" I demanded.

I'll get it right this time!

I started running then jumped right as Kenma tossed the ball to me.

This one is it!

I slammed the ball passed the net.

"YES!" I screamed.

"So cool"

"Huh?" I heard a quiet voice.

I turned to look at the door and there was a girl in an archery uniform watching our practice. She had light brown hair tied up in a high ponytail and big hazel eyes. I've never seen her at this school. Maybe she's new?

She's kinda cute.

Our eyes met for a second.

"Eep!" she let out a cute squeak and ran away.

"Wait!" I called out to her but it was too late.

"Kuroo, what's wrong?" a slightly worried Kenma asked.

"Ah..Oh it's nothing. Let's continue practice!" I shouted at my teammates.

I turned around looking at the empty doorway.

Who is she?

"See ya later, Kenma." I waved to him a goodbye as we split up to our respective homes. He's my neighbor and we often walked home together after practice.

"Don't forget the Dojos & Dragons guild raid starts at 10." Kenma reminded me before turning into his front porch.

"Yeah yeah..." I muttered under my breath.

There's this mobile game we play together, Dojos & Dragons. I'm not really good at it compared to Kenma, but it's a lot of fun playing with him and our guildmate Aya-pi.

Once I got inside my house, I took a quick shower before I logged onto D&D.

aYaPi☆: Hey guys!

applepi: Oh she's here

96kami: HELLOOO! ( Ф∀Ф)ノ

aYaPi☆: Did you two wait long?

96kami: No we just got home from practice

I've played some video games with Aya-pi before D&D but I decided to join this guild to know more about her. Kenma always seemed to be having fun when he's playing games with her. I wanted to know more about the person that can make Kenma even more focused on video games.

96kami: BTW Aya-pi..you live in Tokyo right?

aYaPi☆: Yeah, that's right! What's up?

96kami: I was thinking we should do an IRL guild meetup. How does that sound?

aYaPi☆: Guild meetup?! ꒰꒰;; ;°;ਊ°;꒱

I chuckled to myself. Did I scare her?

Ding!

Oh, a personal e-mail from Kenma. I opened the message.

Kozume Kenma                                              21:58

What's this about an IRL Meetup?

"Aren't you at least a bit curious about what Aya-pi is like in real life?" I texted back

aYaPi☆: Sorry, I'm busy with exams. ꒰ இɷஇ ꒱

96kuro: How about we meet up after exams? I have exams all next week but I'm free next weekend!

I persisted.

Applepi: The dojo is opening, are you ready?

Tch. Kenma interrupted our plans.

aYaPi☆: Let's talk after the raid. Let's go! ꒰。•'ェ'•。꒱۶

96kami: LET'S GO!! ٩( ↀДↀ)۶
