"Devil incarnate," I muttered under my breath.

"Evil," Kenma followed after me.

"Laughable," Kuroo chipped in.

He thinks this situation is laughable?

The three of us walked onto campus, playing a game of shiritori using only words to describe Mizuki and this situation she created.

The school had turned upside down. Students who seemed to be friends were now yelling at each other, pointing fingers, and even gambling? Our prestigious school had become a battleground.

"Eccentric," I continued, ignoring the stares from the student body with their mouths agape as we walked past them.

"Crazed" was the last word Kenma contributed before we dropped him off at his classroom.

"Diabolical." Kuroo started the game again after we said our goodbyes to Kenma.

"Ludicrous"

"Shocking."

No doubt about it, this turn of events was quite shocking.

I don't know what Mizuki said or did on Friday but she's definitely a...

"Genius." I ended the game once I opened the door to our classroom.

There in my seat was my scheming captain, Hayashi Mizuki.

"Aya-pi!" Her face brightened up the moment she saw me.

"Mizuki? Why are you in my class?" I took a step back in shock.

She stood up from the seat and ran at me at full force before attacking me with a huge hug.

"I had to make sure no one was going to write all over your desk and then pretend they didn't see anything." Mizuki looked at the other students in the class with a smile, causing them to look away with guilt and shame.

She's rather brazen but that's what makes her amazing.

"What did you do to make everyone act like this?" I asked, squirming in her embraced.

Mizuki tilted her head, feigning ignorance. "Hmm, I wonder?"

She averted her gaze from my piercing eyes and looked at Kuroo, giving him a wink.

If I didn't know better, I would have thought she was the daughter of a rich CEO. To think whatever she did had this much of an influence on the whole school; it's unbelievable.

"Welp, I'll leave you two to your own devices," she whispered into my ears and then pet the top of my head.

"La la la la laa~"

She sang as she skipped out the classroom with her arms flailing back and forth.

As suspicious as she seems, I think I just gained a powerful ally.

"....Therefore the limit does not exist." The teacher continued on and on with his lecture.

Being in the classroom wasn't as suffocating as I thought it would be. Everyone learned to not gossip in front of me, especially during the breaks.

The only problem now is....Kuroo!

How am I supposed to keep my distance away from him when he sits right in front of me?

And I just can't stop staring at his back!
