"Good morning, Sa-ku-rai-san," Kuroo sang, seemingly in a good mood.

"Good morning," I greeted flatly, looking up at him from my classical literature book.

It's amazing how glasses can make me look like a completely different person to him.

Two days have passed since I found out he was Kurokami and this information still hasn't sunk in yet. I could not believe that those two people were the same!

"So what did you do this weekend?" Kuroo's voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? U-umm...." I struggled to tell him the truth without exposing myself.

"I-I...hung out with some friends," my voice trailed off.

That wasn't a complete lie. He's technically an online friend.

"Oya? The bookworm has friends?" he chuckled as he insulted me.

My face started to heat up with anger as I shoved my face into my book, creating a barrier between the two of us.

I still cannot believe Kurokami and Kuroo are the same person!

Physical Education, the only class I do not excel at. I prefer stationary sports such as archery.

I changed into our school's P.E. uniform which consisted of a white T-shirt and red gym shorts with a black stripe on both sides of the pant leg. The class met up in the gymnasium closest to the locker room, also known as the Volleyball Gym.

"Alright class, gather around!" the teacher, Yamamoto-sensei, called out to us.

Yamamoto-sensei is a burly, mid-30s or so years old man with a black crew cut and a scar above his left eyebrow. He has a deep husky voice and the aura of an old yakuza boss.

The class huddled around the teacher.

"This week we will be playing volleyball. Luckily for you lot, there are already two volleyball stars in your class," Yamamoto-sensei ushered Kuroo and Yaku to the front of the class.

Oh, I didn't know Yaku was in the volleyball team.

Yaku Morisuke. I've had a few classes with him in the past but I don't know much about him. This year, the only class we have together is Classical Literature and Physical Education. From what I've observed, he's friends with Kuroo.

"The class will be split into two teams. Kuroo will be the coach of the first team and Yaku will be the coach of the second team. At the end of the week, the two teams will compete against each other. Winners will be exempt from running the timed mile next week," Yamamoto-sensei explained.

The class started to get rowdy once they heard that they might not have to run the mile.

"Teacher!" a male student spoke up. "Isn't Kuroo the captain of the volleyball team? Isn't it unfair for the best player of the volleyball team to play in the match?"

"Hey! I'm a way better receiver than he is!" Yaku chimed in.

"Ahem! Kuroo and Yaku will not be playing in the final match. They are only coaching the teams throughout the game," Yamamoto-sensei cleared up any confusion the students had.

The students started chattering loudly again.

I hope I don't have to run that mile.

"Alright! I will be assigning each of you a number," Yamamoto-sensei told us.
