It's Monday, the start of our long exam filled week.
"Good morning, Sakurai-san!" I sang as I walked by her to sit at my desk.
I turned around and placed my elbow on her desk, resting my chin on my palm.
"How were the snacks?" I questioned.
"Good, thank you," She responded, not looking up from her notes.
Tch. Sometimes she acts like Kenma but with studying instead of games.
"What was your favorite drink?"
"Strawberry milk."
"And bread?"
"Choco bread."
I smirked. She's a lot girlier than I thought she was. I'm learning something new about her every day.
"Are you ready for the math exam?" I pestered her with more questions.
"Yes."
"Then why are you still studying?"
She finally looked up at me from her notes. Her glasses glared as the sunlight hit it. Her eyes shifted as she tried to find the words to respond to me.
"What? Cat got your tongue?" I snickered.
"Are you ready-?"
"Yes." I confidently cut her off.
"-to score 5th in class again?" she finished her sentence.
Ouch.
"Oya, Sakurai-san got jokes," I chuckled as I shot finger guns at her before turning around.
I learn something new from her indeed.

Dinggg dong ding donggg. Dingg dong ding donggg.
The lunch bell rang. I slumped in my chair and pulled out a letter I received in my shoe locker this morning.
Dear Kuroo-kun,
Please meet me outside the science lab on the other side of the school.Sincerely yours,
You're Secret Admirer
I let out a deep sigh. At least use the correct "your". And which science lab? There's more than one lab on that side of the school! The letter made my heart race, not because I was flattered but because of how irritated it made me.
Should I even go?
I groaned as I got up. I should at least turn this person down politely.
I headed towards the other side of school and walked around aimlessly until I felt a tug on my shirt.
"K-Kuroo-kun," a faint female voice called my name.
"Hmm?" I turned around. "Oh hey, what's up Kanda-san?"
"I-I LIKE YOU!" Her voice was shaky as she professed her feelings to me.
"Was this letter from you?" I asked, holding out the letter I received earlier.
"Y-yes! Please go out with me!" she declared boldly.
I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.
"I'm sorry, but I can't return your feelings," I stated, returning the letter to her.
She grabbed the letter with both hands, tears filling her eyes.
"But you're always flirting with me! You don't like me? Not one bit...?" Her voice trailed off, holding back tears.
