Clink.

I closed the door to my shoe locker.

I actually had a good night's sleep last night. After reading "Hi-9!!", I fell asleep. I didn't realize how tired I was and I even slept through my D&D raid alarm.

I'll apologize to Kenma later.

I walked to class while reviewing some chemistry flashcards.

Potassium dichromate. K2Cr2O7.

Sulfuric Acid. H2SO4.

Manganese Oxide. MnO2.

I heard a loud giggle which caused me to look up.

A few feet in front of me was Kuroo walking down the hall with another girl, Ishihara Sumiko. Ishihara is the student council vice-president. She's tall and slender and has a body any girl would die for. Her long black hair and pale skin has her dubbed as the Snow White of Nekoma.

She's really beautiful up close.

Kuroo's arm was wrapped around her shoulder as they walked away.

My face flared up in disgust.

I remembered the girl crying at the vending machine a few weeks back.

So this is Kuroo in his natural habitat. He's just a womanizer.

My mind drifted to yesterday when he visited me after practice. The close proximity of our faces.

Am I just another toy he can play with?

I gritted my teeth and tightly gripped onto my bookbag as I walked to homeroom.

Once I settled down in my seat, I found it hard to study. No matter what book I read, I just couldn't focus.

I took out my phone and logged onto D&D.

Oh, Kenma is on.

aYaPi☆: Good morning! ꒰๑ ・◡・꒱♫

applepi: Morning

applepi: Where were you last night?

aYaPi☆: Ah, sorry! I fell asleep early! ꒰'꒳'꒱

applepi: Want to play a few dungeons before class starts?

aYaPi☆: Of course! ٩꒰๑ '∇'๑꒱۶

I had a lot of fun playing with Kenma, and it definitely pulled me out of the slump I was feeling earlier.

"Good morning, Sakurai-san!" Kuroo greeted energetically.

I continued to tap on my phone, ignoring him.

"Hmm, something wrong?" he asked while sitting down in his seat.

I pulled my phone closer to my face, getting irritated every time he spoke.

Today, in P.E., we were learning receives. As the name suggests, it's when you receive the ball so it doesn't hit the ground.

We split into two groups and rallied against each other. There were six people on each side of the court and everytime we received the ball, we had to switch out with someone on the sidelines.

My eagerness to play volleyball faded away as I missed every ball that came my way. I was always just shy of hitting it too. Even Harada and Nishida were able to receive some of the balls. In the end, I was the only person in my group who never got switched out with someone on the side lines.
