Chapter 5

I open my eyes to see an unfamiliar room. I sit up and look around. Where am I? Who's room is this? Then all my memories of last night came back. Oh yeah now I remember. My so called parents forced Haley and I to move to a new pack with our so called mates. Awesome... not. I just wanna go home and hang out with my squads and friends. I wanna see the look Eric and Xander's faces when Daddy orders them to leave me alone.

Betrayal ... that's what I'm feeling right now. Betrayal from my family. My own flesh and blood. Well at least that's what I thought they all were until I learned the truth last night. Come to find out the man I have called my father my whole life is really not. My siblings are only half siblings and the one full blooded sibling I did have my bitch of a mother killed when he was born. Just my luck.

"Kenzie time to get up," I hear Haley call quietly from the other side of the door. I sigh and get up from the bed. I walk over to the door and open it to reveal a mirrored image of my feelings. Haley looked so upset like she was about to cry. I sighed and wrapped my arms around her and pull her into the room. "Oh Haley," I hold her close as she sobs into my chest. I just sit there while she balls her eyes out. "W-w-why us," she sobs. " I'm so sorry Haley. I will get us out of this. I promise," I tell her.

******* 2 Hours Later *******

"Hey Aunt Daisy. How are you and everyone else" I ask my favorite Aunt. I don't know why she is it's just something about her that makes me relate to her more than aunt Izzy. "We are all good. We are actually coming to see you all their is something that we need to talk about, "She says a little worried. "I would love to see you all Aunt Daisy but my so called mom and step dad shipped Haley and I off to our mates pack on the other side of the country," I say as tears threaten to escape my eyes. "What," she screeches. "Yep and I know that your brother Alpha Shane is my real father," I tell her. She stays silent.

"That's it I'm done pretending now. I am ordering your Uncle Ryan to have your new pack and your mother's pack to come here for a meeting," She said sternly. "Yes mam," I say a little scared. She just laughs and tells me she loves me before we end our call. I smile and run out of my temporary room and down the stair to the kitchen where Haley, Luna Amy, Alpha Liam, Damon, Orlando, and another girl were. I stopped and looked at the girl, that was right beside Orlando, and narrowed my eyes. "Calm down Kenzie this is Damon's twin sister," Haley warned me. I just nodded and looked at her and smiled.

Haley looks at me confused. "What's with the happy happy face," she ask confused. "Oh nothing just that my Uncle Ryan and Aunt Daisy Alpha and Luna to the Grey Mountain Pack have asked for a meeting with our new pack and it is to take place real soon," I cheer happily. She looks at me with wide, happy eyes and runs over to me knocking me to the ground. "Really," she screams. I nod and giggle.

********* 2 Days Later ********

"We are finally here," Haley and I cheer. Luna Amy giggles while the boys just roll their eyes. We ignore them and run up to the front door. Before we could even knock Riley, Yuna, Tyler, Chase, Emily, Spencer, and even little Hannah are at the door yanking us in. I giggle as Riley picks me up and swings me around. Out of all my cousins I'm closer to Riley than the others and the thing is. Riley isn't my Uncle Ryan's son. Riley was brought here by Aunt Daisy, Megan, and her daughter Yuna, who was a few days old at the time.

I hear someone clear their throats and I look up to see my so called mother. I just roll my eyes and walk over to Haley. "Come on Hayes lets go unpack in our room," I smirk. "What no hugs or hellos for your parents," my mother ask. I just look at her. "My mother would never kill a innocent child just because of their father and wouldn't ship their daughter away because she was stuck with the same father," I sneer at her, "Excuse me young lady. You have no right to talk to me like that. I am your mother and I will be respected. You have no idea what I went through," she growls.

"Enough," I hear Aunt Daisy shout, making us all go quiet. I look at her sadly. "I'm sorry Aunt Daisy," I apologize. She nods and looks at everyone. "The reason you are all here is that I have been keeping a huge secret for years now and it's taken a toll on me. I had to lie to everyone one about this. Even my mate. I just recently told him and yes he was angry but he understood and told me I should no longer hide this secret no matter if someone else doesn't lie the truth being told, "she tells us. We all just wait for her to continue. She looks at me and smiles. "McKenzie their is a reason you feel really connected to Riley. He is your older brother. Not long after your mother was kidnapped she was raped and fell pregnant with my brother's baby like other girls. Your mother had the Riley and made me promise to escape with him and make sure he was taken care of," she tells me.

I looks from Aunt Daisy to Riley to my mother back to Riley. "You're really my big brother and not just a half sibling," I ask as tears come to my eyes. I run to him and hug him tightly. Riley chuckles as he wipes my tears from my eyes. We look at our mother and she's smiling. "What the hell," I growl at her. "McKenzie I know you hate me right now but I did this to save him. You saw all those kids that your biological father has. All he really wants is boys. He just has his daughters for insurance. He keeps them until they are sixteen and find their mate. If their mates are not Alpha's then he sells them to future or new Alpha's for an alliance. Hey wants all his sons that are old enough to train so his army is huge and immortal. He wants to control everyone," she tells me.
