Chapter 11

*2 Months Later*

It's been two months. TWO FREAKIN MONTHS!! Still no luck. Orlando and I have tried everything and I mean EVERYTHING. It's like the Moon Goddess doesn't wish for me to conceive a pup anytime soon. It's seems to me like she wants me to get taken away from my friends and family. Yes I said friends and family. These past two months not only have I grown closer to Orlando but also with his entire pack ... I mean our entire pack. Haley and I have made new friends around here that we actually hang out with quite a lot ... that is when we're not 'busy' if you know what I mean. Yes Haley has been 'busy' too. After talking to me about my situation she decided she wanted a baby too. Let me just say ... Damon was no as hesitant as Orlando was. He was all for having his own little pup running around.

'Who's that shadow holding me hostage? I've been here for days. Who's this whisper telling me that I'm never gonna get away? I know they'll be coming to find me soon But I feel I'm getting used to Being held by you' I jump at the sound of my going of indicating I have a text message. I shake my head from my depressing thoughts as I pick up my phone from the bedside table and check to see who in the world would be texting me at , I look at the clock, five in the morning. My question is answered when I open the text message.

From: Hayes

Hey sorry for txting so early but I need you I've been feeling really sick lately

I reread the text message to be sure I read it correctly. Could Haley be pregnant? I mean have they really been trying harder than Orlando and I? I feel my heart break a little at me not being able to conceive so quickly but also jump for joy at the thought of being the coolest Auntie any little boy or girl could ever ask for! With that in mind I jump out of my cozy bed and hurry out the door and over to Damon and Haley's room. I knock on the door and wait for her to answer.

*Ten Minutes Later*

Still no answer. I sigh and pull out my phone to text her and ask her where the hell is she. I grumble in annoyance as I type out my question to her. It might have come out a little angry looking but she knows never to wake me really early unless she's waiting for me.\

From: Kenz

Where the hell are you? I've been waiting for you to open your door for like ten minutes now!

Not even a minute later and Haley replies knowing if she doesn't she will never hear the end of my anger.

From: Hayes

I thought I texted you that I was in the office with Damon and Orlando. I'm sorry. Apparently his wolf sensed that I'm really pregnant and now Damon won't let me out of his site.

I sigh in annoyance and stomp down to Orlando's office. I knock on the door a little louder than necessary but what can I say ... I'm angry right now. Within less than a minute the door opens revealing Orlando sitting in his chair talking to Damon and Haley who is perched back on his lap. I cross my arms and narrow my eyes at the three of them. If Haley was in here the whole time then why did I have to get up.

Sensing my anger, Haley curled up into Damon's chest knowing what I would say. She knows I hate being woken up early for no reason. " H-h-hey Kenzie," Haley chokes out. I just continue to glare at them. "Orlando what is wrong with you little mate and glaring at people," Damon ask a bit annoyed. I let out a low growl towards him in warning. "Kenzie enough," Orlando warned me. Oh so scary ... not! " Um guys it's not a good idea to provoke her right now," Haley speaks up. They look at her like they are telling her to stay quiet.

My wolf, who was already pissed at being woken up so early, being who she is let out a very loud warning growl and started trying to take over my body, making my eyes turn pure grey. Haley noticed right away and hopped off of Damon's lap and hurried over to me. "It's okay Lizbeth. I'm fine really. No one hurt me. All's good. Please don't do something that will hurt Kenzie," Haley pleads with my wolf.
